The trifecta of brightening moisturizer, sun protection, and smooth application is perfect even for my extremely dry skin! While you shouldn't expect it to cover blemishes like a foundation would (it is a sunscreen after all), it does give your complexion an overall radiant boost. There's hardly any white cast, and it spreads evenly and smoothly. Even if you apply it haphazardly, it still goes on well. It's ideal for lazy folks like me! Whenever I see this little gem out of stock at Daiso, I get a bit anxious and feel like I should stock up even more. I honestly can't think of any downsides. After application, my skin feels soft and the product sets well. On a scorching day, I went out wearing this, and people thought I had on a full face of makeup! Even when I sweat, it doesn't budge and stays put nicely. No clogged pores or flaking - I'm absolutely in love with this product! It might be a bit drying for use in the dead of winter. However, if you layer it over a hydrating skincare routine, it should work fine. If you apply it in thin layers, your skin will look more like you're wearing makeup. Applying it too thick right from the start doesn't look as pretty, I've found.
