I was looking for a face mask and after using Dr. Oracle products from cleanser to emulsion, I decided to stick with the same brand. I'm so satisfied with my purchase! It would be better if it peeled off when dry. I find it a bit inconvenient to wash off with lukewarm water once it hardens. It dries perfectly in about 10 minutes, which is ideal for washing off. I love that it doesn't take too much time out of my skincare routine.

This seems suitable for oily or combination skin types. It applies smoothly without causing blemishes, especially on skin prone to redness. After using this matcha mask, your skin feels refreshed and there seems to be a slight immediate brightening effect. It seems effective for clearing pores and removing dead skin cells. The scent is also not unpleasant. It's difficult to wash off completely, requiring multiple rinses. I couldn't notice any lasting effects.

But it turned out to be surprisingly good, so I've been using it consistently. I only apply it on my cheeks and nose where I have excess sebum production. It's best to apply it thickly! Even with thick application, the amount lasts quite long. I have oily skin prone to whiteheads and what some call 'dog oil' (excessive sebum). What I liked most about this product was its 'sebum control + low irritation'. First off, the texture is incredibly fine without any granules, feeling just like a cream. This makes it non-irritating during application, but it's especially great when washing off. When I use it on areas with white sebum buildup under the skin, it helps bring it to the surface. After cleansing thoroughly and applying a BHA serum, it really helps with sebum control. It's even gentle enough to use on inflamed blemishes! Usually, I avoid using masks when my skin is acting up, fearing irritation. But this one doesn't irritate at all. Instead, it helps control sebum, soothe blemishes, and is overall quite beneficial. This was an unexpected but very welcome surprise. Similarly, while most wash-off or pore masks tend to feel dry and tight when they dry, this one doesn't cause such irritation and keeps the skin feeling hydrated. There's not much to dislike, but if I had to nitpick, while it's great for sebum control, I'm not sure about its pore-tightening effects. It comes with a small spatula, but you can't really apply it with that. Using your hands to apply this type of mask isn't great either. Rather than spreading it thinly, it's better to apply it thickly with a silicone mask brush. Currently, I don't have extremely oily skin, but I do have some blemish scars and enlarged pores (especially on my nose where sebum tends to accumulate). Pros: 1. Quick application time: Only 3-5 minutes, or up to 10 minutes when applied just to the nose. 2. Excellent for post-sebum care: When used after sebum management, it seems to absorb remaining oils and tighten pores. I mainly use it on my nose and T-zone. As someone with visible pores, I can really feel the difference when I use this mask. 3. Finely milled formula: Causes minimal skin irritation during use. 4. Personally, I love the scent: It's refreshingly pleasant, as long as you don't stick your nose right in the product. 5. Non-drip formula: Stays put for a mess-free application. 6. Well-designed applicator spoon: Feels optimized for scooping out the mask. It also secures nicely to the inner lid. Though I must admit, I accidentally flung mine across the room and haven't found it since! 1. Results may not be dramatic when used alone. 2. The tightening sensation as the mask dries might be a love-it-or-hate-it experience for some users. After using this mask, my skin feels incredibly soft. It seems to smooth out any texture issues, leaving my complexion feeling refined and silky. I'm not sure if it's because of my super sensitive skin, but I felt a tingling sensation when I applied the mask. I rinsed it off after only 5 minutes, and noticed some redness and flushing, especially on my cheeks. It looked like I was developing an allergic reaction. Although the redness subsided after applying a soothing cream, the initial experience was quite unpleasant. I'm hesitant to use it again. As someone who enjoys wash-off masks and has tried many, I find this one difficult to consider using again. If you're looking for wash-off masks, please choose ones that don't cause irritation or deep dryness. This mask, like the 'Shrek' mask, is too harsh and can actually damage your skin with continued use. Those with sensitive skin should absolutely avoid this product!

The lasting moisture after rinsing is fantastic, and it's great for soothing the skin too. I wish they'd release a larger size! That's the only thing I find disappointing. If you mix it with a grain powder cleanser, it's also great for exfoliating dead skin cells!
