I used to think drugstore products had poor ingredients and were just cheap! That's why I often opted for natural brands. But Etude's Soon Jung line changed my perspective! You know how our skin is slightly acidic, right? That's why I started choosing low pH skincare and cleansers. I tried a sample of Dr. X's low pH cleansing gel and loved it, but when I checked the price... ouch! It was expensive. As a student with limited funds, I can recommend this as an affordable low pH cleanser alternative. It actually lathers quite well too! I bought it on sale for around 6,000 won, and I'm pretty satisfied with it.
The downside is that while Dr. X's low pH cleansing gel showed noticeable results, this one didn't have quite the same impact. Still, as a student, I think it's the best low pH cleanser for this price range. I'm planning to save up for a different low pH cleanser next time. But at this price point, I'd still recommend giving it a try!
Pro tip: Squeeze out the amount shown in the image below to get that level of lather! I recommend using it like I do.
