As someone who's been using Etude's Curl Fix Mascara for over 5 years, let me share my honest review. Looking at the photos, you can tell I'm serious about my lash game, so this is a genuine must-have recommendation. (I've tried most of the famous mascaras out there - Maybelline, Peripera, Too Cool for School, Kiss Me, IPKN, and even those created by YouTubers and influencers... you name it.) Let me break it down for you: My eye type: I have hidden double eyelids, but they're uneven. When doing my makeup, I either create the illusion of visible double eyelids or emphasize my hidden crease higher up. My lashes are naturally full and long. Staying power: It's insane. Even after a night of drinking, there's no drooping. Smudging? Once it sets, forget about it. Whether you want spider lashes, doll-like lashes, or anything in between - this mascara can do it all. It truly excels in not drooping, regardless of humidity. (It's survived Korean summers, Southeast Asian weather, and winter moisture...) Color payoff: I'm all about dramatic eye makeup - enlarging, opening up the eyes, you name it. I always go for black mascara to make my eyes pop, and this one delivers with its intense pigmentation. It's perfect for those who need that extra oomph in their lashes.

It's hard to find any downsides, but if I had to nitpick... You do need to use eye makeup remover on a cotton pad and really work at it to take it off. (But honestly, unless you're using a washable or water-soluble mascara, you should always use eye makeup remover for all eye makeup. Otherwise, you risk pigment staining and other issues.)

Apply mascara vertically, moving back and forth. Use tweezers to separate lashes. When almost dry, gently pinch lashes with fingers for a clean look. (Always do left and right eyes separately, as well as top and bottom lashes. Take your time!) Once everything's dry, curl again, then apply another coat horizontally for thicker, more defined lashes and better longevity.
