common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsI finally tried the famous Double Wear foundation, and contrary to my worries, it didn't feel particularly drying. Maybe it's because I used it with the moisturizing Dalba Waterful Sunscreen, but dryness wasn't an issue at all. The coverage is excellent and it creates a beautiful complexion. After applying this, I've received several compliments on how good my skin looks!
ConsThe price...? Haha. But to be fair, you only need to use a small amount, so it does last a long time.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsIt doesn't transfer much onto masks and has good coverage. The staying power is seriously impressive. I always use Double Wear when I'm working out.
ConsIt sets quickly, so you need to work fast when applying with a puff, which can be tiring for your arms. Touch-ups aren't easy either.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONPros[Before applying Double Wear, you absolutely must] Do the following: 1. Prepare a spatula for thin application 2. Dampen a soft sponge 3. Dead skin cell care is truly essential 4. Use a powerful cleansing oil or balm [Double Wear is recommended for] People with many acne scars (not for deep scars) Oily skin Skin with redness [What Double Wear can't do] Cover pores Conceal deep acne scars Prevent dryness [Why I've settled on Double Wear] I never repurchase foundations, but I'm on my second bottle of this one! My skin type: Shade 23, dark 22 Large pores, especially on the forehead and T-zone Blackheads and whiteheads (not a big issue with proper care) Redness and acne scars Super oily skin When I first encountered Double Wear, I used to wear shade 21 for a brighter look And my skin was free of acne scars. Back then, I was used to thin, sheer products, so Double Wear seemed quite heavy. But who knew I'd become someone with redness and acne scars galore... Now it's truly my holy grail product. [Recommended application methods] Picasso flat brush Fillimilli V-cut brush Fingers Spatula Cushion puff Teardrop sponge My favorite method is applying a thin layer with a spatula, then bouncing a well-dampened sponge all over. Without a spatula, it's a total disaster +FYI, pores are still visible, so a primer is a must. Lately, I've been using Hera's Primer Powder, and it's amazing. +Note: Since the base is extremely long-lasting, double cleansing is crucial. I recommend using a powerful cleanser. I use Bobbi Brown's Soothing Cleansing Oil Also, since it can be drying, if you have dead skin cells or whiteheads, it can look cakey. So I especially recommend this for people with good skin texture or those who take excellent care of their skin [Shades: Ecru, Sand, and Bone] Bone is definitely light. It makes me look like a ghost, and I'm shade 23 So I immediately sold it on Daangn Market W2N2 Sand is in the same family as N1W1 Ecru Ecru has more of a pink and gray undertone than ivory For my warm-toned, redness-prone skin, Sand actually looks brighter I've attached photos below For those who found Cool Vanilla a bit light, Ecru might be a good option
ConsDead skin cell removal is essential Hydration is a must Pore coverage is necessary Recommended products: Picasso spatula Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue (to mix for added moisture) Hera Primer Powder
TipsThe top is Sand The bottom is Ecru Sand looks brighter on me

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsShade 22 & Combination Dehydrated Skin & Acne One thin layer covers light acne marks, and two to three layers cover almost everything except for very prominent scars! While it might feel a bit thick when applying, it adheres well to the skin!
ConsThe scent is a bit off-putting, which is somewhat disappointing. It seems you need to be thorough with cleansing when removing it!

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONPros⭐️Life-changing foundation⭐️ Out of all the cushions and foundations I've tried, this one excels in color match, coverage, and longevity. Color ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ With shade 21 being too light and 23 darkening on me, I have the perfect 22 complexion. Finding the right base has always been a challenge, but this shade is spot-on for my skin. My undertone is a mix of yellow and red - not fully one or the other. The Ecru shade suits me best. After testing other shades at the department store counter, even the staff agreed this color was the most flattering. Coverage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I often struggle with covering a few deep acne scars and occasional large, inflamed blemishes. This foundation adheres well to textured areas, providing great coverage. While I usually avoid applying base products on active blemishes, for important days, Double Wear works better than concealer. It even tones down the redness of inflamed spots, though I'd still recommend avoiding direct application on blemishes if possible. Longevity ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'd heard great things but hesitated due to the price until a friend strongly recommended it. Zero regrets - I'm truly satisfied. Since using this foundation, I don't even carry a cushion for touch-ups anymore. As someone with combination dehydrated skin that gets oily in the evening, I'm amazed that it doesn't break down at all, even when I'm out from morning till night (this might sound exaggerated, but it's true!).
ConsThe only downside is the price... As a consumer, of course, I'd prefer it to be cheaper. However, the quality of this foundation is definitely worth the investment!
TipsI apply a very small amount using a puff, just a tiny dot for the entire face. Even with such a minimal amount, it covers well and spreads evenly. Interestingly, I find that using less product actually improves its longevity and creates a more beautiful wear-down throughout the day.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsFirst off, I'm a foundation nomad. The brand I occasionally settled on was Yves S** Laurent, but as my skin became more sensitive, even that brand started to give me trouble. An esthetician at the spa I go to recommended Estée Lauder, and I'm on day two of using it. Now I understand why everyone raves about 'Double Wear, Double Wear'! Applying a small amount, I found it spreads easily, has good coverage without looking artificial, making my skin appear naturally beautiful (though that could be my imagination...). Plus, it doesn't break down over time, which I love. I think I've finally found my holy grail. Farewell to my nomadic lifestyle!
ConsThe price point is a bit steep, but I believe the product is worth every penny.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsEven with sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin, this foundation really stays put all day without breaking down. Its longevity and coverage are truly top-notch.
ConsFirst off, the price... It's incredibly expensive. Plus, as it's famously known, this foundation sets quickly, so application time is crucial. It's also very drying, so you need to apply a good hydrating moisturizer beforehand.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsIn summer, there's really no base product that compares to Double Wear. Its staying power goes without saying. The coverage is naturally excellent too. The shades I used before were too yellow-based, so I switched to 1N2 and it's so much better! It seems perfect for those like me with a 22-23 complexion.
ConsThe only downside of Double Wear is its dryness and the resulting application issues. But I found a solution by mixing it with a bit of Hera's glow foundation!
TipsI recommend trying it mixed with a slightly more hydrating and glowy foundation! For application, use a flat foundation brush to apply a thin layer on your face, then gently pat it in with a sponge for a flawless finish!

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsShade 21 gives a natural look, though it can appear darker depending on the season. Shade 13 gives more of a 'made-up' complexion. I prefer a pink base, so I bought the Ecru shade. While on vacation, I applied this in the morning, and a friend asked if my skin looked so good because it was early - that's how natural the color and skin finish are. I tend to have redness, but this provides excellent coverage - even after drinking, it doesn't show through. The staying power is great... It lasts until evening with hardly any touch-ups! Even though I have dry skin, it didn't feel particularly drying. I think the pre-makeup routine is more important for this, which I'll mention later.
ConsThe price...? It is quite expensive. There's a slight feeling of heaviness due to the coverage, but I think that's because I'm not used to wearing much makeup. Oh, and I usually remove my makeup with Bioderma cleansing water, but that alone doesn't remove this completely. Sometimes I have to use a lip and eye remover first, then follow with the cleansing water.
TipsWhen I bought it in summer, my skin was a bit tanned so it looked natural, but now in winter it feels a bit dark. I'm mixing it with Espoir Be Glow Porcelain (13 NC). The coverage is slightly less, but it's more hydrating, which I like. Since I have dry skin, I was a bit concerned, so I'm using it with the makeup base recommended at purchase (Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Radiant UV Base SPF50/PA+++ - quite a mouthful!). It's purple-tinted but doesn't dramatically brighten. However, I don't think it's necessary to use it this way. I also found Espoir Water Flash sunscreen worked well. It's good to apply after letting a light moisturizer absorb. As for application, I just pat it on with an air puff...

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsA foundation with excellent coverage and adherence, perfect for oily skin types. Especially great for summer use.
ConsA foundation suitable for oily skin = tends to be quite drying. However, it's just right when mixed with other products.
TipsHydration is the most crucial factor.
