I have combination-dehydrated skin and usually use shade 21, but Giverny seems to run a bit lighter, which I think is accurate. It's noticeably brighter than other cushions, but I prefer this one. Maybe it's closer to shade 20? There's no darkening, and when I finish this, I'll definitely buy the liquid foundation. The adherence is great, and I highly recommend it. I really like that it doesn't darken and has a brighter complexion. The downside is that it's expensive... The cushion is pricier than the liquid foundation (when comparing Giverny's cushion to their liquid foundation). Don't forget your skincare routine before applying the cushion! It's great for dry skin! The color is beautiful, and it gives a lovely skin finish. I really recommend giving it a try at least once! There's a slight darkening effect. If you apply too much without controlling the amount, it can look a bit heavy, but it doesn't go on too thick overall. I recommend applying it with a patting motion.
