I love this mask! After using it, nothing sticks to my face, which is great. When I remove it, my skin feels moisturized and quickly soothed. I've tried many masks, but this one is truly the best. After being out late with my oily skin and long-wearing foundation, I usually get a lot of blemishes. But when I cleanse and use this mask, my skin calms down and improves dramatically. It's my holy grail mask! Personally, I found this mask to be absolutely amazing~! I've heard that some people with super sensitive skin might get blemishes, and the reviews weren't great. But I used it without knowing any of that, and I've loved it from the first use until now... For me, it was a product without any flaws... Since everyone's skin is different, make sure to check the reviews and ingredients before buying! I love that it has a protective film, so your hair doesn't stick to it while you're wearing the mask. The ointment-like cream texture doesn't drip either. Unlike ampoule masks, I don't notice immediate effects after removing this one, but when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels hydrated rather than oily. That's why I bought a bunch after trying one! The adherence is great - I've only used thin sheet masks with ampoules before, but this one sticks really well and doesn't slide off. There's only one ingredient to be cautious of, which is the fragrance. But oh my, the scent is absolutely divine! It's truly a fragrance I adore, which makes me love this product even more! It's a bit short for my wide forehead. If I had to nitpick, I wish there was a bit more cream on the mask. But that's just a minor wish - there's actually plenty of product on it. I'm just being greedy! Just follow the instructions for use. I loved that the essence had a cream-like texture, so it didn't drip or run. As it's a wrap-type mask, I felt a bit of warmth on my skin. True to its '1 AM' name, it seems to contain a thick essence, but it doesn't absorb well. The next morning during cleansing, my skin felt rich, yet the texture remained rough. 1. The biggest advantage of this product is that it doesn't stick to your hair like other hair masks, which often discourage use. 2. As someone with dry and super sensitive skin that's prone to irritation, I find that after using this mask, my skin feels hydrated and seems to improve. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the somewhat high price, which is a bit disappointing. 
Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 15, 2019I loved how I could easily care for my skin with just one simple sheet mask. Even with my dry skin, I didn't experience any tightness afterwards. The sheet was quite thick, so I had to keep pressing it down whenever it lifted. The cream had an ointment-like texture, but there was too much of it and it felt heavy. For about 1-2 minutes, my cheeks tingled a bit. In my opinion, it might be best to use this once a month, or when you notice dead skin cells or roughness on your face. After opening the mask, the excess cream left behind felt a bit heavy, so I gently wiped my right and left cheeks and forehead once with my hands. Then, I found it helpful to press the mask gently with warm hands.

I was surprised by the low ratings... I'm extremely pleased with it! It's perfect for those days when you're too lazy to do anything else but still want to do a mask. It's great for sensitive skin like mine - no tingling sensation. The essence is thick and doesn't drip. My skin condition the next day is also good. Looking at the ingredients on Hwahae now, they seem great too! The sheet keeps sliding down even during the short time it's on your face... But for me, lying down while wearing it, it wasn't a big issue. I wouldn't recommend it for people who move around with the mask on.

Love that the essence doesn't drip everywhere. The adhesion is really poor. It doesn't stick well on the forehead, and I can barely tell if I'm even wearing a mask. Some suggest using a silicone mask cover from Daiso, but I shouldn't have to buy extra items just to make this work... Since the mask kept lifting, I had to keep massaging it with my hands. 1. The mask is generously coated with an ointment-like formula on the inside. It's great because it doesn't smear everywhere during use and hardly sticks to your hair. 2. There's no strong scent, but I love the subtle fragrance. It reminds me of a childhood smell, and this simple scent is why I keep repurchasing it. 3. The hydration is definitely there. Even if I fall asleep with it on, I don't get that stiff feeling like with regular sheet masks. When I wake up the next morning, my skin feels prepped for makeup, so I often use it the night before important events. 1. The price is a bit high, so I usually stock up during sales. The Hwahae masks seem to work well for me. Whether it's just my perception or not, I've never had any adverse reactions. Unfortunately, there weren't any. The product quality is far too low for its price. 1. It doesn't adhere to the skin at all. 2. After using the mask, your skin should feel hydrated, but instead it feels irritated and heavy. I bought it on sale at Olive Young for 1800 won, and even at that price, it feels like a waste of money.
