I used to go through several tubes of Hera foundation over the years. I'd reach for it whenever I had blemishes, and I loved how it covered everything so well. What really won me over was how beautifully it broke down after a few hours when my skin's natural oils came through—it actually made my complexion look even more radiant and healthy. That's why I kept coming back to it. For me personally, the darkening was really noticeable. Even when I applied a brightening moisturizer underneath, after about six hours it would look dull and darker than my neck tone. Honestly, if it didn't have that darkening issue, this would be my holy grail foundation. - ku*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedMay 6, 2026 (UTC+0)
It applies like a dream—so smooth and lightweight. My skin absolutely glows with this on, and it gives my complexion such a refined, luxurious finish. There's zero dryness or that chalky feeling, and I barely get any darkening throughout the day, so I honestly skip touch-ups most of the time. Honestly, there's nothing bad about it. It's just that I find powder foundation more of a hassle than a cushion compact, that's all. - wn*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2026 (UTC+0)
Hera's Black Foundation is the perfect summer foundation, especially for combination dehydrated skin or oily complexions. It creates a solid base and maintains impressive staying power from morning through afternoon with minimal breakdown. That longevity is honestly its biggest strength. As the day goes on, even when a bit of oil surfaces, the foundation doesn't look patchy or messy. Instead, it develops this beautiful natural glow that actually makes your skin look even better. The formula is genuinely ideal for summer weather, which is why I'm so satisfied with it. The price point is pretty steep, so it's tough to use it daily without feeling like you're splurging. Plus, the formula applies a bit thick, so you really need to use a spatula or brush to spread it thin and get a flawless finish. I also found that shade 13 isn't as bright as I expected—it honestly feels more like a 21 or 22. If you want a more luminous look, I'd suggest mixing a small amount with a lighter foundation like VDL A00. - sa*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2026 (UTC+0)
I'm absolutely obsessed with this! For oily skin types, this foundation seriously rivals Estée Lauder—it's a total game-changer and my holy grail pick. Hmm, the film-like matte finish sets incredibly fast, which is honestly both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it locks everything in place, but on the other, you need to work quickly or it'll dry down before you can blend it out properly. - eu**********Oily SkinAcneRecommendedMay 1, 2026 (UTC+0)
I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes, and I have a warm undertone. This product is absolutely amazing for me! It matches my skin perfectly, the coverage is fantastic, and the adherence is spot-on. I'm so impressed! The pilling is unavoidable, unfortunately. But honestly, that's the only downside. You absolutely have to get this. - st*****Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedApr 27, 2026 (UTC+0)
The generous size means this product lasts forever! I find myself reaching for it constantly because it gives my skin such a beautiful, radiant finish. Even though it comes in a pump bottle, the product dispenses smoothly and effortlessly. It's the perfect everyday essential, and the adhesion is fantastic. The staying power is so impressive that I honestly don't need any additional skin touch-ups throughout the day. I've been using this regularly and haven't experienced any blemishes or irritation from it, which is wonderful! The coverage isn't quite as full as some other products out there, but what I love is how beautifully it enhances my skin's natural appearance. If you mix this with a hydrating moisturizer, you'll get an even more dewy, moisture-rich finish! Since the staying power sets fairly quickly, I'd recommend applying it in thin layers to build up the coverage gradually. - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedApr 16, 2026 (UTC+0)
Hera Foundation is a product I trust completely. It holds up beautifully even during summer without breaking down or fading. I've found that mixing foundation with a BB cream works so much better than using foundation alone—it absorbs more smoothly and lasts longer throughout the day. Now I mix pretty much any foundation with a BB cream for better results. - ch********Oily SkinAcneBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 14, 2026 (UTC+0)
Skin Type • Oily skin • Visible pores, blemishes, and red marks What I Loved • The finish is absolutely gorgeous. There's barely any creasing around the nose, and when it does shift, it breaks down beautifully. I rarely need to touch up my makeup, so this product is perfect for me. • Virtually no color darkening. Other cushions and foundations oxidize heavily, so I've always had to correct with purple-toned cushions. This one doesn't darken noticeably, so I didn't need any color correction at all—I'm really happy about that. • The wear time is incredible. I barely need any touch-ups, and it stays flawless even after eight hours. • Coverage is solid and reliable. • Pore coverage could be better (I'd recommend using a primer). • It has a matte finish, so it's not ideal for dry skin. Even for oily skin, if you don't prep your base well, you might experience some lifting and separation. • It sets quickly, so it requires some technique to apply smoothly. Makeup beginners might find it a bit tricky to work with. - yu**********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 27, 2026 (UTC+0)
This foundation delivers excellent coverage and staying power—it's absolutely perfect for summer! The only thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't apply smoothly with your fingers, so you'll want to use a spatula or brush and apply it in thin layers for the best results. The shade runs darker compared to other brands, so you'll need to go one or two shades lighter than your usual match to find your perfect complexion match.
bl**********Dry SkinAcneMar 22, 2026 (UTC+0)I have combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and enlarged pores, so I was drawn to the promise of 24-hour wear and decided to give this a try. I've had great success with the Black Cushion, so I had high hopes for this one too. I actually purchased a foundation brush specifically to use with this product. When I apply it thinly with the brush and then gently tap it in with the puff, it absorbs beautifully and creates a seamless finish. I wouldn't recommend applying it by hand first and then using the puff, as it tends to go on too thick that way. A staff member at the Hera counter actually recommended using a foundation brush for the best application. Pros: The lasting power is solid, even if I can't fully confirm the 24-hour claim. Beyond that, I have to be honest—there aren't really other standout benefits. 1. The pilling is really intense. Every time I apply it, dead skin cells seem to surface around my nose and bridge, which makes me anxious about wearing it. I don't even have severely dry skin normally, and the Black Cushion worked great for me, so I'm confused why this one does this. 2. Mask marks show up on my face. Whenever I wear a mask, it leaves visible impressions on my skin. 3. It doesn't hold up well against sweat. Once I start sweating, the foundation starts to ball up and separate all over my face.
