I used to use Shiseido Senka Perfect Whip for quite a long time. While it wasn't problematic, I felt my skin lacked that natural glow, so I decided to switch to a low pH cleanser.
- Above all, it worked really well for me.
- Right after washing, my skin doesn't feel extremely dry, but as the water evaporates, I do feel some deep dryness.
- As for that coveted glow... well, it's hard to achieve with just this product alone, unfortunately.
- Now, whenever I use a cleanser that leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean, I can't help but think it might not be good for my skin.
Around the same time I switched to this product, I also started using 'Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Facial Cream'. Suddenly, I started getting tiny blemishes that I'd never had before.
(I usually get the occasional pimple, but having one or two small blemishes pop up every day was really stressful...)
- Although I got these tiny blemishes, I don't think this cleanser was to blame.
- A little tip: Double cleanse on days when you wear makeup.
After I stopped using Physiogel and even visited a dermatologist (which didn't help), I started using a grain mask, and the tiny blemishes subsided a bit.
While it wasn't this product's fault, I suspect the sudden increase in oil production might have been the cause.
Double cleanse on days when you wear makeup.
If you wear makeup daily, it might be good to incorporate double cleansing into your routine a few times a week!
