It's great for calming blemishes when applied. As a gentle product, it's excellent for providing hydration. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's a moisturizer that does its job well! - ey*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 28, 2024
I tried a sample of this product and I'm impressed! When applied alone, it feels refreshing and hydrating. But the real magic happens when you layer it with a bouncy toner or essence - it amplifies that plumping effect, giving it a unique charm. If you're already using a rich toner or essence and looking for a light gel cream to balance things out, this might not be the best fit. Also, being a gel, it's not as deeply hydrating as you might expect. - de**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 4, 2024
Everyone, try using this with Innisfree's retinol ampoule - the results are incredible! I honestly didn't expect it to be this good... The combination of retinol + gel cream with vitamin B3 and niacinamide is a perfect match. I had issues with redness, acne, pigmentation, and noticeable pores in my T-zone, but I've seen significant improvement. The only slight downside might be the lack of a strong cooling effect? But since I don't use this alone and apply it after the retinol ampoule, I didn't find any real drawbacks. I have combination dehydrated skin, so those with very dry or dry skin might find it a bit drying, but overall I loved it. Please give the combination of Innisfree retinol ampoule + cherry blossom gel cream a try. You won't regret it! - ol*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2024
1. Texture First off, this cream has a completely transparent gel-like consistency. As you may know, gel creams typically don't have much oil content, so as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually feel dry soon after applying. However, this cream's hydration lasts surprisingly long for a gel cream. When you squeeze it out, it looks like a clear aloe gel, but the moment you apply it to your face, it becomes delightfully bouncy. At first, you might find it a bit tacky, but if you wait a bit after application, it absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling deeply hydrated. 2. Moisturizing What's fascinating is that despite not being an oil-heavy cream, it doesn't evaporate easily and leaves a lasting moisturized feeling on the skin. While it might not be enough on its own during winter, it's perfect for spring, fall, and summer when you want something lightweight. 3. Scent + Portability The cream has a cherry blossom scent, which I personally love! Also, its compact size makes it great for carrying around. 1. Price vs. Quantity The amount of product is quite small for the price. It does come in a compact size. I can see why Innisfree calls this a cream for combination dehydrated skin, and I highly recommend it to anyone with a similar skin type to mine! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2024
It seems to be moisturizing and great value for money. Overall, the packaging is pretty, and I loved the cherry blossom scent. The fragrance might be hit or miss for some people. Personally, I was a fan. - ye******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 8, 2024
The hydration is wonderfully moisturizing, and the truly jelly-like texture is amazingly unique, making it absorb well. It's a great cream for lightly replenishing hydration. It's a product with just hydration, so it evaporates quickly, much like aloe gel. Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent. It's just an artificial cherry blossom fragrance, but it's way too strong... After applying this and letting it absorb, if you immediately follow up with a rich product that has more oil, you can achieve the perfect oil and moisture balance for your skin care routine. - se********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 4, 2024
When applied with other products, it makes my skin feel hydrated. I bought the jar version and used it with a spatula. It stings a little and dries out quickly. When used alone, it feels like it's actually taking moisture away from my skin. - pr**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 29, 2024
I've been using this for ages, and I just love its subtle fragrance. It seems perfect for year-round use. It's moisturizing and feels like a reliable go-to product. It seems important to make sure it absorbs well, so you might need to pat it in thoroughly. - si********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2024
This mini cream is similar to the popular aloe gel, but in a tiny 50ml size - smaller than your palm! I almost thought it was a sample. So I compared it to the aloe gel to see what makes it so special despite its small size: 1. Texture Both have a clear gel texture. When turned upside down, they both stay put without dripping - nice and bouncy. As typical for gels, they feel smooth with a slight stickiness that doesn't linger, so no need to worry. 2. Function While aloe gel is for soothing and hydration, this jelly cream is for brightening. It contains niacinamide, part of the vitamin B3 complex, which evens out and brightens the complexion! As someone prone to redness, I think this will pair perfectly with my soothing products. 3. Application 5 minutes after applying, the aloe gel absorbed quickly leaving skin feeling dry, while the jelly cream left a subtle dewy glow. The difference seems to be soothing hydration vs brightening radiance, so choose based on your skin goals. Being a cream, the jelly cream still provides decent hydration. Conclusion Though the amount is a bit small, I actually love how portable it is. My skin always freaks out with redness when I travel, so I plan to save this mini jelly cream for trips. I'll use it as a moisturizer before bed to combat environmental changes! Given the small amount, I wish they'd release a larger version with more product. - ju**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 11, 2023
The gel texture applies smoothly and leaves a slightly firm finish, but it's not sticky at all. I've been using this product consistently for years, and it's a summer must-have for oily or combination dehydrated skin. It's an essential hydrating moisturizer for summer, so I hope it doesn't get discontinued. I understand that the main reason this product divides opinion is its artificial fragrance, which seems to need urgent improvement. If the artificial scent were removed, this could become a holy grail product. The regular price feels a bit steep. However, if you purchase it during promotional events through the brand or the Hwahae app, you can get it for around $15-$20. Timing your purchase well makes it a real bang for your buck.
