Like other soothing products, this absorbs well, but even with the mask on, my skin felt dry in winter. I had to use additional hydrating masks. It might be better suited for summer use. However, it does leave a sticky feeling on the skin. Before trying this, I honestly couldn't understand why people did a daily mask routine. I just thought it must be good for my skin even if I couldn't feel the immediate effects, since everyone else was doing it so diligently. I have super sensitive skin that tends to develop blemishes or rashes the day after using regular sheet masks made of non-woven fabric. For some reason, regardless of the brand or ingredients, masks made of non-woven material always feel slightly rough and irritating on my face. That's why I only use gel-like materials such as hydrogel for my face masks. While I haven't tried every sheet mask out there, compared to other brands' hydrogel masks in a similar price range, Innisfree's Second Skin line has the thickest, most elastic sheets. They keep my skin moisturized without feeling tight, even if I leave them on longer than recommended. The next day, my makeup applies smoothly, and my skin feels more firm. While it's not as dramatic as a dermatological procedure, it's the only face mask where I've seen immediate results. The price might be a bit steep for daily use, though. I love how the sheet mask has a jelly-like texture. I'm concerned about some of the ingredients. When removing the mesh backing, the essence tends to drip down my hands. I received this from Innisfree with a coupon, but there's nothing good to say about it. The mask I originally bought burst during shipping, so I used this one instead. It caused an intense burning sensation and made my skin feel hot. I immediately washed it off and applied a saline solution mask to calm my skin, but it still feels tingly and uncomfortable.
