This was perfect for targeting and removing blackheads on my nose, but sadly it's been discontinued. The scent is quite strong, and being a peel-off mask, it can be a bit harsh on the skin. - eh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsApr 1, 2024
I love how easy it is to use. You just apply it and peel it off! To be honest, I'm not sure what effects it's supposed to have. It also takes quite a while to dry... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2023
I bought this to remove excess sebum, and it seems to be doing a great job at that It has a strange wood glue smell and doesn't seem to come off easily - wl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2023
This product does an excellent job of clearing out blackheads, whiteheads, and dead skin cells from your face. It leaves you feeling refreshed after use. The downside is that it can be a bit harsh when peeling it off. I'm disappointed that it's been discontinued. Apply a generous layer for best results. - qo**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2022
I have wide pores in my T-zone, lots of whiteheads/blackheads on my nose, and redness-prone skin. Texture: It's similar to a cleansing foam. Slightly sticky but with good spreadability. It's easy to apply, though the stickiness makes it a bit tricky to spread evenly. As you touch it, it seems to rub off, so apply it with a gentle touch for a thicker layer. Peel-off: While not extremely painful to remove, there's a slight sensation due to its adhesive properties. For me, it feels just right. If it were too adhesive, it might be effective but painful, and if not adhesive enough, it would be gentler but ineffective. This one strikes a good balance. Drying time: For proper adhesion, a thick layer takes longer to dry. Even when you think it's dry, curved areas might still be damp and sticky. I recommend letting it dry a bit longer than you think necessary. Effectiveness: It doesn't extract whiteheads completely. There's a sense of dead skin cells being refined, but don't expect the same level of extraction as a nose strip. That level of adhesion would be too harsh for the face anyway. The adhesive power is a bit disappointing, though not as strong as a nose strip. The Volcanic Cluster line is known for pore/sebum care, so I had high expectations. It seems they reduced the adhesion to minimize irritation, which was slightly disappointing. Still, it's comfortable to use overall. It's more suitable as a peel-off mask for exfoliation rather than for extracting sebum. - ki*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2022
Removing it with my hands felt more refreshing than rinsing with water, and I liked seeing the dead skin cells being visibly exfoliated. The scent is a bit like wood glue, unfortunately. Also, if you peel it off before it's completely dry, the damp parts don't rinse off easily with water. Apply a thin layer and let it dry completely! That's the key to peeling it off effectively! - se*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2022
It effectively removes dead skin cells and impurities from your skin. If you leave it on for a while, it even pulls out sebum from your pores, especially on the nose. I think the volcanic scoria mousse or wash-off types might be better options than this one. - ri******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2022
It effectively removes everything from impurities to dead skin cells in one go. With consistent use, it seems like it could be really effective for tackling blackheads and whiteheads. Just to clarify, this isn't a product you wash off with water - you peel it off (my mistake earlier, sorry!). It might be a bit harsh for those with super sensitive skin. I'd recommend using it only on specific areas. I have combination skin with oily T-zone, so I use this partially for pore care and exfoliation on my nose and butterfly zone. When I applied it all over my face, it stung a bit while peeling off (felt like it was taking all my peach fuzz with it!). Word of caution: If you treasure your eyebrows or have delicate brow hairs, avoid applying near your eyebrows. It can pull them out when you peel it off! - fh********Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 21, 2022
It seems to work well in tidying up peach fuzz. I also love how it makes my skin feel silky smooth. There's no brush included, and it stings quite a bit if applied thinly. To be honest, it only removes about 4 or so blackheads. I'd recommend applying it a bit more generously. Using it after toner helps reduce dryness. Skip the emulsion. - qo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2022
I love that it's generous in quantity and effectively manages stubborn sebum The formula is too runny and takes a while to dry, which is inconvenient. However, the scent was better than I expected
