I was really into IOPE products at the time, and I tried this as a sample. The texture is like an emulsion - not too heavy, not too light. It applies with a nice balance of nourishment and hydration. It absorbs well, and the finish is slightly matte, but surprisingly doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. Despite having sensitive skin, it worked really well for me.
