Moisture retention The sensation of having a hydration barrier doesn't last long. It absorbs into the skin too quickly. While it solves deep dryness (I personally prefer products that leave a bit of richness), I felt the surface of my skin quickly became dry again. 2. Absorption is too fast. This aspect might be hit or miss depending on the individual, but for me, it's a miss. It absorbs way too quickly... Having dry skin, I prefer when some richness remains on the skin's surface, but I was surprised at how quickly the outer layer of skin dried out.
