A sunscreen that's perfect for dry skin. No white cast, and it doesn't pill even when applied generously. It has a scent, but it's not overpowering and dissipates quickly, making it suitable even for those sensitive to fragrances. I tried IOPE sunscreen a long time ago, before it went through several renewals, and I didn't have a great experience back then. It caused a burning sensation, especially on my cheeks, so I had to wash it off within an hour. I thought it didn't suit me and never bought it again. After that, I tried almost every sunscreen out there, regardless of price, but couldn't find 'the one'. Then, after reading an article about SPF, I decided to give IOPE another chance. I was worried it might not work for me, but now I understand why so many people call it their holy grail sunscreen. The absorption is fantastic, and there's almost no white cast. It doesn't irritate my eyes, and it feels amazing on dry skin. It has an emulsion or cream-like texture, so it doesn't pill even when applied generously over your entire skincare routine. There's a slight scent when you apply it, but it fades quickly. While the fragrance might be divisive, it shouldn't be a major issue for most users. It's great that you can apply it carefully around the eyes without irritation, and it doesn't dry out or feel tight over time, making it perfect for dry skin.
It's really hard to find any downsides to this product. If I had to pick one, it would be that it's a bit tricky to apply generously in summer. While it's moisturizing in winter, it can feel slightly greasy in summer, so you need to adjust the amount you use.
IOPE sunscreen is available at a very reasonable price, and there are plenty of mini-size samples available, making it easy to test. I recommend those with oily skin or concerns about the fragrance to try a sample before purchasing. I suggest applying a generous amount all at once rather than in multiple layers. Usually, we're told to apply a huge amount, so I tried applying it in layers, but I found that applying the full amount for forehead, cheeks, and chin all at once gave a much better result.
