I used to use the Essential Nude Cushion, but it felt too oily in summer. So I tried this one for about a month, and even for my super oily skin, it stayed completely matte. Even after hours, there was only a slight hint of shine. As expected from Jung Saem Mool, the skin finish is quite beautiful for a matte cushion. Due to its matte nature, it doesn't make my skin look as flawless as the Essential Nude Cushion, so I'll probably only use it during summer. This cushion foundation seems to be a great option for those with oily skin or for use in hot, humid weather. It provides a long-lasting matte finish while still giving a nice complexion. However, if you prefer a more dewy, radiant look, you might want to reserve this for the warmer months or mix it with a more hydrating product for a custom finish. - ji*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 7, 2025
This seems like a good choice for combination skin types. The puff that comes with it is a nice bonus. The color has a yellowish tint. I noticed some darkening after use. The staying power isn't particularly impressive. It applies rather thick. The price point is on the higher side. Worth trying if you have combination skin, but probably not suitable for oily or dry skin types. - rl**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 3, 2025
I'm sticking with this product because I love its adherence, staying power, and how it enhances my complexion. The packaging is top-notch, and I'm so grateful for the extra samples they included! The only thing I wish for is that it came with two puffs instead of one. This review highlights the product's excellent performance in terms of coverage and longevity. The customer appreciates the quality packaging and the thoughtful inclusion of samples. However, they suggest an improvement by including an additional applicator puff for convenience. - ae*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2025
The ultimate cushion foundation on the market today. If you're not expecting full coverage like a traditional foundation, this provides satisfactory coverage for everyday use! Despite being long-wearing and matte, it applies more thinly than other matte formulas, feeling lightweight with excellent adherence to the skin. As with most cushion foundations, longevity is a bit lacking. When your skin isn't at its best - like with blemishes around the nose or breakouts - it can apply unevenly (though this seems unavoidable with most cushions). - au******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2025
This shade is a perfect match for those with warm undertones in shade 23, offering a subtle and flattering look. For combination dehydrated skin like mine, it works wonders when applied after a hydrating skincare routine. The staying power is impressive, and it helps control excess oil production. There's not much to complain about, but if you're after a brighter look, I'd suggest pairing it with a lighter shade. To achieve that coveted Inner Glow, try layering this product with a brightening moisturizer for an even more radiant complexion. - dy*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 23, 2025
A summer must-have cushion! I've been using it for almost 4 years now For combination dehydrated skin that produces excess oil in summer afternoons, this product maintains its coverage for quite a while I actually use it a lot for touch-ups, and it doesn't cause any pilling When I used it in winter, perhaps due to deep dryness, it tended to separate and crack a bit, so I didn't use it much then I recommend this for those who want to control oil in summer while achieving long-lasting wear without being too matte! If you're between shades 22-23 and don't want to look too pale, I suggest going for the medium shade! - wn*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 15, 2025
Though expensive, it is worth the cost. I bought it as a gift for mom at the duty-free shop, and she is using it very well. It's expensive! However, if you're going to use it sparingly, you need to build a solid foundation. The more moisturized you make it, the longer it will last. - dm*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2025
I've been using this product for several years now. Since I don't like wearing heavy makeup, I just apply enough for light coverage, and it works perfectly fine. While it can get a bit oily in summer, the amount and how it absorbs are quite good, so I keep using it consistently. The quantity is a bit disappointing... Although it might be similar to other cushions, you need to replace it quite often. - rj********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I accidentally ordered this, but I'm using it now and it's perfect for summer when my skin gets oily and sweaty. It doesn't smudge and provides great coverage. It's a bit drying for winter use. When I rub my skin, it flakes off like dead skin cells, making it too drying to use with powder. If you want to increase its staying power, try using a setting spray! If you hydrate your skin before applying makeup, it really makes your complexion look beautiful. Plus, it already feels matte without needing to use powder. - dm*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2025
Despite having extremely sensitive skin, I've tried countless cushions. Before developing skin inflammation, I could use any base product without issues. But now, I've had to toss so many after just one use! I've been using Long Wear consistently since before its renewal. I prefer matte finishes, but among matte products, this isn't extremely matte for combination dehydrated or oily skin. (In my opinion, truly matte products are Hera Black Cushion, Espoir Be Velvet, etc.) Long Wear is slightly moisturizing among semi-matte products! Powder is a must for me! Sometimes I see negative comments on YouTube, but it really depends on the individual. For my skin that breaks down easily no matter what I apply, this is the most reliable cushion that I reach for often. Especially for someone like me with a lot to cover, poor skin condition, redness, and large pores, I think this cushion performs adequately even without foundation. After the renewal, the texture feels thinner. It's a bit disappointing for me as the coverage seems slightly lower, and it feels like it's changed to a true semi-matte texture. Maybe it's just my imagination? So those who disliked the thick feeling before might want to give it another try. I really hated the old case design, so I'm glad they changed it. By the way, I don't recommend this for those who prefer a glowy look. I wonder if phenoxyethanol, which is almost at the bottom of the ingredient list, is really necessary in the formulation. Why is it there? I'm genuinely curious. I wish it wasn't included... Skin reference: Combination dehydrated, varies by area, extremely sensitive skin, produces excess sebum, prone to milia, occasional itchy or painful blemishes, *frequently flares up due to dermatitis, *redness and dilated blood vessels due to steroid ointment/very weakened skin.
