I have combination skin that's prone to blemishes if my pores get even slightly clogged or if my skin gets too oily. (To make matters worse, my super sensitive skin reacts to seasonal changes and even travel - I always end up with blemishes as an unwelcome souvenir!) In summer, I prefer products that I can use quickly without a full base makeup, but sunscreen is a must-have. The problem is, most brightening moisturizers with SPF on the market feel heavy on my skin, like I'm wearing both a BB cream and sunscreen. I hated that stuffy feeling and all the sweat! But this G'sential sunscreen is different - it brightens my complexion, blocks fine dust, and provides excellent UV protection. I love it so much I even left a review on their website, and this is my own purchase! Seriously, G'sential, please don't ever discontinue this sunscreen. Keep selling it forever! If I had to point out one downside, it's that my chin area is really dry, and the product tends to sit on top of the skin there, causing some flaking. But this issue is easily solved by applying a cream on top. Oh, and it does transfer a bit if you touch your face. For dry areas, mixing cream with a bit of Vaseline and applying it works wonders. - se****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My skin is typically very dry, and products that are too rich or oily tend to cause immediate breakouts that are slow to heal. That's why I always check ingredients before buying (avoiding products with incompatible ingredients). The product: The package is smaller than expected, which seems great for portability. Texture: It's slightly thicker than an emulsion. It applies smoothly, adheres well to the skin, and spreads easily. Unlike some overly oily sunscreens that pill on my skin, this one doesn't. Feel: It feels incredibly gentle on the skin. There's almost no eye irritation, which adds to this impression. While I sometimes choose sunscreens with a white cast for their brightening effect, this one has a particularly strong whitening effect. It would work well as a brightening moisturizer for the neck or body. The white cast: While the whitening effect is great for use on the body like a brightening moisturizer, it's not ideal for pre-makeup application on the face. It seems to leave the face looking noticeably pale. It's best to apply this product in small amounts. Layering it gradually allows for some control over the intensity of the white cast. After using this product, I find I need to use much less cushion foundation initially, but I always need to touch up my makeup after about an hour due to the white cast.
