As soon as I massage it in, the itching subsides and there's a refreshing sensation. It's not an intense cooling effect, but rather a pleasant relief that soothes my irritated scalp. My hair usually tangles terribly when wet, but this shampoo feels like applying a treatment - it makes my hair silky smooth while creating rich lather. I highly recommend it for damaged hair. The Dr.Forhair line gives my scalp the most comfortable feeling ever! The price... Although the thick formula and abundant lather make it last longer, I wish they'd have sales more often.
