The warm red shade offers excellent color payoff, and being a semi-matte type, it has moderate staying power! The color is perfect for warm-toned individuals to wear this autumn. As it's a matte formula, it transfers less to masks compared to other products! However, being a matte type, it tends to slightly accentuate dead skin cells. For a prettier lip look, I recommend exfoliating your lips with a scrub before application! If you apply it in layers by blotting with a tissue and reapplying, you can achieve better longevity and minimize transfer! - km*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2021
Color: It's a brick red with a hint of purple? I don't think this shade is limited to deep undertones! When applied thinly, it shows a purple tint, and when applied more heavily, it's a brick red! It's not brown, but seems to have more red in it. It's such a unique color, and it's absolutely gorgeous... Scent: It seems to be unscented! There's no particular fragrance that stands out. Texture: It glides on smoothly, and while it's a matte lipstick, it's quite moisturizing! Once it sets, it has a powdery finish, but when you first apply it, it feels quite hydrating. True to its 'smooth' name, it applies incredibly softly. Does it emphasize dead skin cells?: Being a matte lipstick, it does highlight dead skin cells a bit. It's not too severe, but if you have very dry lips, it's best to exfoliate thoroughly before application or apply a lip balm first! Pigmentation: The color payoff is quite good! Longevity: The staying power isn't the best. I tend to lick my lips or fidget with them a lot, so that might be why, but it does wear off easily. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but if I had to choose, it would be the longevity and transfer. Actually, the transfer can be reduced by blotting with a tissue a few times, but the longevity is harder to hide... If the staying power was better, it would be absolutely perfect! - ye*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2021
The color is absolutely perfect for warm skin tones, it's so beautiful I could cry! It tends to accentuate dead skin cells! When applied, it makes my lips feel a bit dry - mi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2021
The color is a slightly toned-down red that looks clear and bright, not dull. When you pat it on, it goes on sheer and translucent, making it perfect for daily use. It's great for a light application when you're not wearing full makeup. The texture is smooth and applies nicely, feeling slightly moisturizing for a matte finish, which I really like! The case design is unique and simple, which is a plus. The price is a bit on the higher side, but honestly, that's about the only drawback I can think of. Remember to exfoliate before applying for best results! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedSep 8, 2020
- A vibrant brick red that's perfect for autumn! The color payoff is beautiful. - It's lovely when applied generously as a blush substitute. - I often use it when I want to create a calm, subdued look. I have cool-toned skin, but it works surprisingly well for me! - The slightly matte finish could be a drawback. A lip balm is absolutely necessary! - eu*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2020
It absorbs well, provides great color payoff, and comes in a sleek, attractive case. Laka doesn't often have sales, so it didn't really catch my attention. However, the product quality is good. - wm******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
It's the perfect classic red shade, just a touch deeper! Since it's matte, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2020
The color is truly beautiful and it applies smoothly. It has a semi-matte finish, making it perfect for daily wear. I've been using it regularly. It's one of those lip colors that seems to complement almost any complexion. If there's one downside, it's that when applied heavily, it can look a bit intense - almost like you've smeared gochujang on your lips. So for those who don't like that bold look, this lip product might be a bit disappointing. - su*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMay 17, 2020
Everyone's lips are different, so please take my review as a reference only! Red Brown: I'm a cool summer (I think). The fact that this suits my face suggests it might work well for cool-toned people too. The color is a really pretty red-brown? It has that kind of vibe. There seems to be a hint of orange mixed in as well. Case: I liked the simple and clean white color... haha. However, being so white, it might get dirty or scratched easily... I guess that could be seen as a drawback? Dead Skin Cells: Right now, I've been taking care of my lips a bit, so my dead skin isn't too bad. It seems to hide the little bit of dead skin I do have. There's almost no emphasis on dead skin cells! Application: When applying, it doesn't feel like you're using a crayon, but rather something soft? It's not extremely like that, but it does apply relatively smoothly. Case: As I mentioned earlier, it might get dirty easily... sigh. Price: Naturally, being a lipstick, it's more expensive than a tint, but it feels a bit pricey to me... As a student, it's hard to buy expensive things... I'm not sure about repurchasing because of the price... I really like the product itself, but it's a shame... - fu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2020
The color is rich and applies smoothly. Although it's a matte lipstick, it doesn't feel overly drying. Being a matte lipstick, if you use it when you have dead skin cells on your lips... well, you know... It's definitely worth buying.
