It's so moisturizing, perfect for those with dry, flaky lips. The color payoff is absolutely to die for! The purple shade can be a bit overwhelming for a full lip look. The pigmentation is so intense that even a small amount looks like you've applied a lot. I highly recommend the Lip Tensity product for those with typically dry lips! I have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, so I never dared to try MAC lipsticks, which are notorious for being drying. But when I bought the new Lip Tensity, I found that it stains the lips nicely (meaning it doesn't easily come off!) and it's moisturizing while still providing great color payoff! The color might be an issue, but that's personal! Depending on how you usually do your makeup, this color can look completely different! As someone who mainly uses orange-brown eyeshadows, when I tried this purple-tinted lip color, it really didn't suit me at all. It actually looked much better when I just had a bare face (with a bit of skin makeup), drew my eyebrows, and applied Ambrosia!
