The coverage is medium to high, and it adheres well to the skin. Even those with oily skin can use it comfortably as it's more hydrating than oily! I recommend this for people with a healthy complexion! I'm not sure about blemishes, but if applied incorrectly, it might look a bit thick, which could be seen as a slight drawback. As a serum foundation, it feels moisturizing and comfortable on the inner layers of the skin, even if the surface might look a bit chaotic... I ordered this with high hopes after seeing YouTube recommendations and hearing it won a blind test for moisturizing foundations. But I'm not sure if it's just me - this foundation sits terribly on my skin. I have combination dehydrated skin with some visible pores, and no matter what I do, it clings and lifts in my pore areas. I heard that using a primer with serum foundations can reduce adherence, so I tried applying it over just sunscreen, but it still lifted. It lifted over color corrector too. Whether I prep my skin thoroughly or keep it light, nothing works - it just won't absorb into my skin. I apply it with a spatula and then pat it in with a Stool Lab puff, but my pores are still visible and it's incredibly stressful. After five or six attempts, this has become a neglected product. I've tried many foundations, and usually patting with a good puff helps them absorb well, but I've never experienced one that refuses to absorb and clings like this. The staying power and darkening are also terrible. I wish someone could share some tips on how to make this work with my skin.

The sales associate had me at 'moisturizing, great coverage, easy to layer, and doesn't require much skill' - I was sold immediately! My first impressions after trying it today: 1. It's so hydrating! I applied a thin layer of powder over it, and surprisingly, my face that usually gets flaky and matte looked calm with a beautiful glow! It's that pretty, dewy finish! 2. The color is a perfectly balanced yellow base - not too yellow, not too red. Everyone complimented how natural and beautiful my complexion looked! 3. The coverage is amazing! My face has quite a few acne scars and red blemishes, but wow! It covers everything while still feeling moisturizing... I'm shocked! The staying power is great too! Even after driving in the sun, sweating in the heat, there was no breakdown or fading! I think this will be absolutely fantastic for winter, keeping my skin looking plump and hydrated! The only downside is that the opening is in direct contact with the outside, and there's no cap, which is a bit concerning for hygiene. I apply two thin layers! Also, today I applied it by patting it in with my hands like a BB cream, and it blended beautifully. Using your hands to apply gives an even dewier finish!
