The fragrance is absolutely delightful. It's perfect for a light application. The moisturizing effect is excellent. The bottle design is adorably reminiscent of an IV drip. Surprisingly, it helps clear up blemishes quickly. There wasn't anything particularly negative about it. If I had to nitpick, I wish the volume was a bit larger. It works perfectly when used together with toner and ampoule. Sometimes when I felt lazy, I'd only apply the toner before bed. The next morning, I was amazed to see some of my blemishes had faded. So I tried it again, just using the toner, and the following day even more had cleared up. That's when I realized this product really works well for me and is truly effective. While it doesn't provide intense hydration, it does offer a decent amount of moisture. I think it's worth trying for those who, like me, struggle with lots of blemishes and dry skin. My biggest skin concern is blemishes. While it's improved a lot as I've gotten older, I've been dealing with acne constantly since middle school. To cut to the chase, I'm very satisfied with its acne care. If you're struggling with blemishes, I highly recommend giving this a try! Actually, apart from dermatologist-prescribed medication, nothing had really worked for my acne. After I stopped taking the meds I'd been on for years when I started wearing masks (not because I didn't need them anymore, but because I always thought you should eventually stop using such harsh treatments), I was just content using gentle, non-irritating skincare products. Then I tried some acne-specific skincare basics (from a certain brand) and saw results. I realized that acne-prone skin really does benefit from using acne-specific products, so I started looking for an acne-focused toner too. Before receiving the Derma Acning Toner as a Hwahae Tester, I was using one from a popular brand. I finished the whole bottle but didn't see much effect. Unlike the previous toner, which felt very slippery and moisturizing, this one absorbs incredibly fast. It almost feels like it's taking away oil and moisture, leaving your skin feeling super clean. I was worried it might be drying, but even in winter, I didn't feel any more dry than usual. This applies to when I'm wearing makeup too! However, don't expect it to be moisturizing. At first, I didn't notice much difference, but now after about two weeks, I'm extremely satisfied. My blemishes have noticeably decreased. If this skin condition continues until I finish the bottle, I'll likely repurchase despite the high price. Please make sure to use it for at least two weeks! Oh, and the packaging is glass! The lid is a screw-top type. I personally like both the glass container and the screw-top design. There's one significant downside - the smell. It has a strong medicinal scent. Even my family members notice it, and it's more noticeable when wearing a mask. I'm not particularly sensitive to smells, so to me it just smells clean... but those who are sensitive might find it overwhelming. Also, it's quite expensive. I wish they would have more discount events. Maybe it's because of the medicinal smell or the super-clean feeling it leaves, but it doesn't feel particularly gentle. The skincare steps after this toner shouldn't be too light, or your skin might feel dry. However... despite these drawbacks, I think I'll have to repurchase this toner. Please keep in mind that experiences may vary from person to person. I definitely noticed that red blemishes started to subside. That's why, despite the dryness I'll mention in the drawbacks, I continued using it for its effectiveness. Also, it absorbs into the skin quickly and well. The herbal scent is quite strong, and when wearing a mask, the smell lingered persistently. If you're not sensitive to scents, it might not be an issue, but if you are, you might want to think twice. Also, it can be drying, so those with dry skin might need to follow up with a very thorough moisturizing routine. At first, I thought my blemishes were improving, but with continued use, my face became very irritated and my redness worsened, so I eventually had to stop. I use it as an exfoliating toner, followed by a hydrating toner, serum, and cream, so I didn't experience any dryness. It seems excellent for refining skin texture and preventing blemishes by calming the skin. When you first open it, there's a distinct centella scent, similar to pine needles, which some might find off-putting, but I actually enjoyed it. The scent made it feel even more refreshing. I was also pleased that it comes in a glass bottle instead of plastic, which is better for the environment. The bottle opening isn't too wide, allowing you to dispense just the right amount onto a cotton pad, so it should last longer! I recommend getting reusable toner pads from Daiso or other stores to use with this product! Some people might be put off by the scent. Also, it's not very hydrating, so it might be too drying if used alone. It's best used for refining skin texture and preventing blemishes. I recommend using it as an exfoliating toner in the evening after cleansing. It feels like it washes away the day's fatigue from your skin!

It absorbed quickly after exfoliation. There was hardly any residue left on the skin, but I didn't experience any dryness! While there weren't any dramatic changes in acne soothing, I didn't develop any new breakouts during use. The morning after using the toner in the evening, I felt like sebum production and acne redness were slightly reduced! Also, it seemed to speed up the healing process after extracting blemishes! The scent lingered on the skin even after application, making it difficult to use in the morning. It was hard to get used to the fragrance inside the mask when wearing one. The product packaging needs improvement. The glass bottle is heavy, and my initial shipment arrived completely shattered, so I had to receive a replacement. They should either change the container or include bubble wrap or cushioning material in the box during shipping. Also, since all the labels are in English, it's challenging to quickly read the ingredient list or usage instructions, even though they're provided. The glass bottle design was also appealing. It has a strong centella scent, which might be divisive, but I personally prefer this herbal aroma to artificial fragrances, so I absolutely adored it. Though it's meant to be used with a cotton pad, I found it easier to just pat it on with my hands. I think it would work best as an exfoliating toner. When I first applied it, I experienced some skin irritation. My skin felt quite heated, which was surprising for a soothing toner. I was a bit taken aback by the irritation... I didn't really feel any calming effects. While I liked the texture and scent, it was disappointing. Please note that I have combination dehydrated skin prone to pustular acne. 1. Texture: Liquid with a water-like consistency, no viscosity 2. Though it doesn't contain alcohol, it gives a sanitizing sensation similar to products that do 3. Hydration: Not particularly hydrating, think of it more as a skin-refining product Pros: 1. Refines skin texture without irritation 2. Doesn't aggravate acne (crucial!) 3. Doesn't trigger more pustular acne (very important!) This product is ideal as a first toner for acne-prone skin, focusing on refining texture rather than deep hydration. The texture is incredibly watery, which makes it easy to apply and absorb - I really liked that. It's great for layering multiple times too. Despite its light consistency, it's quite hydrating. For those who find it challenging to apply due to its watery nature, you could use it as a toner by soaking a cotton pad and gently patting it on your skin. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the scent... This was my first time trying a centella product, and I've heard the fragrance can be quite divisive? I think I would have preferred if it had no scent at all or if it was much milder.
