The Shu Uemura Lash Petal Mascara ($37) lives up to its reputation as a budget-friendly option. It's truly affordable and doesn't clump at all.
I can't really think of any downsides. If I had to nitpick, maybe the staying power?
I've found that using Missha's 4D Mascara on the lower lashes and Etude's fixer product on the upper lashes gives a result almost identical to the Shu Uemura Lash Petal Mascara, but at a lower price point.
