I own several NARS lip pencils, but Isola Bella is my go-to shade. As someone who prefers subtle orange-tinted nude colors over bold lip shades, this is my holy grail. I also have Biscayne Park, which is similar but in the same nude family. Isola Bella has a slightly more pronounced orange tint compared to Biscayne Park. Both are satin-finish lip pencils, not matte, which gives them a moisturizing feel. The smooth application makes them perfect even on days when my lips aren't in the best condition. Being a creamy formula, the staying power isn't great. You'll need to reapply often, which means it gets used up quickly - that's the only downside if I had to pick one. I've been using this shade for ages now. Friends who are into nude lips often ask me what lipstick I'm wearing. It's definitely a favorite! The color is beautifully natural and it applies smoothly. I haven't seen a prettier shade among the peach-beige tones. Using this alone causes a rash on my lips, making me suffer for days. I thought it might be because I hadn't used it for a while after buying it, so I purchased it again, but the same thing happened. I think there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. With other NARS lip pencils, I feel a slight tingling on my lips, but this one causes severe blisters every time I use it, so I ended up giving it to my mom.
