Given how rich this product is, prolonged use seems to trigger blemishes on the scalp and even causes an odor. It's as if the oils are clogging up the pores... Plus, it makes my scalp itchy. After a while, there's a noticeable smell coming from the scalp. Word of caution to those with oily scalps - it can make your hair get greasy faster! That's why I only use this shampoo on busy workday mornings. Once a week, I make sure to do a scalp scaling treatment - you know, to remove those dead skin cells. I also use a regular shampoo with good cleansing effectiveness once or twice a week. This routine seems to work well without any issues!
