Having worked at Nature Republic before, I've tried various products, and this new premium cream reportedly won first place in a blind test against high-end department store brands. As a consumer who's used it myself, I can say it has a water-based formula that feels bouncy with more hydration than other creams. When applied, it creates a stronger moisture barrier compared to others. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin, and if you apply it thickly with toner before bed, your face feels comfortable and your skin is moisturized the next day. My skin texture has improved and become smoother. My skin was originally oily but rough and dehydrated, and this has helped. A little goes a long way, which is great.
The scent is quite strong. It's a typical cosmetic fragrance, so those who dislike strong scents might not enjoy it. Another potential drawback is the price. It's expensive for a Nature Republic product at 66,000 won. However, this item is never on sale. It's always sold at that price, and originally it should be sold for around 150,000 won due to ingredients like 6-year-old red ginseng, royal jelly, golden silkworm, and gold powder, but it's offered at a special price.
If you apply only toner and a thick layer of this cream before bed, your skin feels comfortable and is noticeably more moisturized the next day. As it's a hydrating nourishing cream, it's better to apply it with a rolling massage motion rather than just patting it on. This is one of the best Nature Republic products I've tried, which is why I'm leaving this review.
