While the ingredients may not be ideal, it's incredibly gentle on the skin. As a blemish concealer, I think it's truly optimized for covering acne and red marks. What surprised me most was how well it performed even on freshly popped pimples. When I had no choice but to conceal an area where pus was still oozing (without any Duoderm-like patches), I found that unlike NARS concealer which would mix with the fluid and slide off, this one adhered well even over the wet spot. I'm so impressed that I had to leave a review! For hygiene reasons, I'm not a fan of the sponge tip applicator. I wish it came with replacement sponge tips. I used shade 10 Light, which was slightly darker than my usual 21 shade. However, I've heard that it's actually better to cover blemishes with a slightly darker shade. So unless you're using it for dark circles or as a highlighter, I think this shade works well.
