I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone. My skin is naturally dark, and when I remove my makeup, those blemish marks make my complexion look so dull it's hard to look at. Anyway, like the previous reviewer, I've seen improvements, but it's difficult to pinpoint exactly how. What I can say is that my skin definitely has more of a glow and my complexion looks brighter. My once-dull skin now looks decent even without makeup! When you first apply it, it feels like an oil, but it absorbs so quickly that by the time you've finished spreading it, your face feels velvety soft. It doesn't leave any greasy residue on your hands either. I'm not sure if I'm less sensitive to retinol or if this is just a great first retinol product, but I've been using it without any blemishes or irritation. The bottle lasts longer than you'd expect too! I'll definitely be repurchasing. There's nothing I dislike about it at the moment. I bought this product from Sephora in the US, and oh, it's hard to explain, but it's so good! I really wish it would come to Korea, even if just to duty-free shops. It has a fluid texture that feels a bit oily when you apply it, but it doesn't leave a greasy finish and absorbs quickly. After absorption, it can feel a bit dry, so I can't use it alone - I layer a hydrating cream on top. I haven't seen dramatic effects like wrinkles disappearing, but when I use it, my skin feels healthier. It seems to minimize pores too... It's hard to put into words, but there's definitely an improvement! Despite containing retinoids, I didn't experience any redness or blemishes when I first started using it. The price is a bit steep. If I remember correctly, it was around $80. But if I could, I'd buy it again! The texture is very runny, so you need to work quickly to spread a few drops over your face. I only apply it at night, but if you use it in the morning, make sure to follow up with sunscreen!
