I started using this cushion because my mom was using it. There are mist and cover types available, but since I have a lot of acne scars, I tried the cover type. First off, the case is so pretty! It has a lovely powdery scent too - very feminine and delicate. You need to be careful with the amount you use, but the coverage is better than I expected. It applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized, and wears beautifully throughout the day. However, since I have very dry skin, it does feel a bit drying later on. It's also disappointing that there's only one shade available. This cushion foundation seems to work hard to even out the complexion and provide good coverage for blemishes. It might be great for those with combination dehydrated skin who are looking for a product that absorbs well and gives an inner glow. For those with super sensitive skin, it's worth noting that the scent, while pleasant, could potentially cause irritation. The limited shade range is definitely an area for improvement, as it may not suit all skin tones.

It applies in an incredibly thin layer, so even when you build it up, it never feels thick or heavy at all! It's moisturizing and makes my skin look naturally beautiful, as if I just have great skin texture. I can see why people love it and call it their holy grail. While some Hwahae users seem to give it lower ratings, I was initially a bit worried after reading those reviews, but I'm actually quite satisfied. As someone with very oily skin, I found the staying power to be pretty good for a hydrating cushion foundation. First off, the coverage is practically non-existent... Even if you try to build it up for more coverage, it doesn't seem to cover much. That said, it doesn't apply thickly. Since I have a lot of blemishes, this aspect is disappointing, but I guess that's typical for moisturizing cushions. Also, because it's so natural-looking even when you apply multiple layers, I find myself mindlessly reapplying, which means I go through it pretty quickly... It's both a pro and a con. For those with blemishes, use it together with a concealer.
