First off, I have combination, acne-prone skin. I heard good things about Papa Recipe's eggplant line, so I gave it a try. To cut to the chase, I'm quite satisfied with it. I used the Eggplant Clearing Skin Toner and Emulsion. While the scent wasn't particularly pleasant, it wasn't off-putting either. I'm not a fan of heavy, sticky cosmetics, so I especially liked these products. The toner felt refreshing and light when applied. The emulsion spread easily on my face without feeling heavy or sticky. The ingredients and price point were reasonable, and I didn't experience any stinging or pain after application.
I didn't use the Eggplant Cream or Ampoule, which might be why, but using just the toner and emulsion in winter wasn't quite hydrating enough. Personally, I think these two products alone (toner and emulsion) would be perfect for summer use. Overall, I didn't have many complaints.
