I can't really think of any major downsides. Just make sure your skin is damp when you use it, because applying it to completely dry skin causes irritation. You definitely need that moisture on your face first.

The scent is absolutely wonderful! It's so fresh and clean that you'll want to eat it. The scrub works really well too—it does a great job of exfoliating.
