Among oil-based pomades, this one has the strongest hold. You can easily restyle it anytime with your hands or a comb. Even after wearing a motorcycle helmet, a few quick strokes with a comb will get it back in shape. The strawberry scent might be hit or miss for some. While oil-based pomades are inherently harder to wash out, this one from Reuzel is the most difficult to remove among their products. Use the cheapest cleansing oil you can find. Apply it to your hands 2-3 times, massage it thoroughly into your hair, then rinse with water. The emulsification will remove most of the grease. Follow up with shampoo for a completely oil-free result. Double shampooing can be harsh on the scalp and tedious, but this method is the most effective. - Hwahae UserOily SkinFeb 20, 2021
The hold is better than any pomade I've ever used. The scent is like bubblegum. Like most oil-based pomades, it's incredibly difficult to wash out when shampooing. It washes out well if you use a large amount of cheap conditioner or cleansing oil (I'm not kidding). - bl*****Oily SkinAug 22, 2019
It doesn't easily wash off with water, so it stands up to sweat and rain like a champ. Even after Psy's drenching concert, it was still hanging out on my head when I got home - like a first love that lingers in your heart. I use it religiously for all kinds of festivals. The setting power, scent, staying power, and the cute piggy with its pink exterior are all fantastic. It does leave a bit of a shiny finish though. You'll need to shampoo at least twice to get it out, and even then you might need another wash in the morning to feel like it's completely gone. It kind of feels like it might be speeding up genetic hair loss a bit. It's perfect for festivals. For everyday use, it's great when you need some seriously strong hold.
