The glow is incredible, so I highly recommend it for those who love a radiant finish. The color payoff isn't too intense, so it's not as brown as you might expect, making it quite wearable. Above all, it's adorably cute and pretty! If you apply it directly, it can cause your base makeup to lift, so it's best to use a puff and pat it on gently. Also, the color payoff is quite weak, so you might only be able to use it over a powder base for a pure glow effect. As someone with severe dark circles who always uses concealer, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone worried about their base makeup coming off! Since it fades quickly, I suggest applying powder blush to your cheeks before setting powder, then gently patting this on top with a puff for that extra glow. We need to maintain our vitality, after all! - mi**********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 13, 2025
The color payoff is quite pretty, perfect for autumn makeup looks. Surprisingly, it doesn't pill much with other makeup. I also love its adorable round shape! However, its staying power is a bit disappointing, so I'd recommend carrying it with you for touch-ups. - ps*********Combination SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2025
As someone with a deep warm undertone, I'm absolutely thrilled with Nuga Coco! It's stunning even when layered, and it applies so incredibly smoothly that I can hardly believe it. While mocha mousse looks are trending these days, you can achieve the perfect mocha mousse makeup with just Nuga Coco alone. It's a game-changer! The only downside is that it's quite moisturizing, which can cause hair to stick to it easily. - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedApr 9, 2025
Personal color: Autumn Mute main, sub Autumn Deep - classic warm autumn tone Skin shade: Light 23 (between 22-23) Special notes: Higher than average redness around cheeks (severe flushing), darker tone around eyes (severe dark circles) Usage review: As a balm-type blush, I thought it might melt quickly when applied directly to the face due to heat sensitivity, making it difficult to control the amount. However, the texture was surprisingly firm, making it easy to use. The color payoff was clearer and less intense than expected, which I think would make it user-friendly for beginners. Pros: Many beige-brown products on the market tend to have excessive red, pink, or orange undertones, making them ambiguous as true browns. However, Nuga Coco strikes a perfect balance without leaning towards any particular shade, which I liked from the first application. It's also rare for such brown shades to appear clear, but Nuga Coco does, which I appreciated even more. Moreover, while most brown products recommended for 23 deep undertones tend to be dark, intense, and heavy-looking, Nuga Coco was the first I've seen with this kind of clear finish. It felt like a whole new world to me. Despite my severe flushing, which usually turns my makeup into a 'burning sweet potato' color over time (this is why I typically avoid brown blushes with red or pink undertones), Nuga Coco didn't have this effect, which I loved. Recommended for: Up to shade 23 with deep undertones, deep undertones in general For those with shade 23 and above, it might not show up as well, hence the recommendation up to shade 23. Even on my light 23 skin, it doesn't show up well with just one application. From shade 23 onwards, you might need to layer it multiple times for a visible blush effect. The clear color payoff makes it great for those with deep undertones looking for a sophisticated makeup look, and I'd recommend it as a daily item for autumn warm tones. While it's easy to apply by rolling on the cheekbones or cheeks, the shape makes it prone to getting caught on the case lid or nails, so you need to be careful when opening and closing. However, I think this is unavoidable due to the product concept, so it's something I can overlook. Although the clear color payoff is nice, I don't think the pigmentation is particularly strong. It's on the weaker side in terms of color intensity. When first using, applying directly to the cheeks might cause the base makeup to pill. Gently rubbing the surface with your palm or fingers to warm it up makes subsequent use easier. Using a puff is best, but simply rolling it on your cheeks and blending by patting with your fingers works decently too. If you like a glowy finish, you can use it as is. But if you dislike hair sticking to your face or prefer a matte finish like me, lightly setting it with some powder afterwards helps. - js*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 15, 2025
First off, the best thing is the design... It looks like a grape, it's pretty, and it's compact, making it convenient to carry around. When I tried the tester in-store, I was initially surprised because it seemed too brown. Then I was surprised again when I swatched it on my hand and the color payoff seemed weak. But I bought it anyway during a sale, and it's the prettiest among my sale purchases! The brown goes on lightly, giving a calm and beautiful look, and the glow is naturally radiant, which I love! This type of glossy balm blush can leave marks or appear too pigmented if applied incorrectly, but this one has such a subtle color payoff that it looks pretty even when applied casually. Hygiene? If you roll the round applicator directly on your cheeks, it picks up foundation... It's a bit inconvenient to have to clean it, but you can always dispense some product first. I'm too lazy, so I just use it directly.
