I love that it's matte since I prefer matte lip products. The scent is a subtle floral fragrance that's not overwhelming at all! Unlike other products that leaked and worried me, this one hasn't leaked at all in over a year of use! It's so matte that you need to use lip gloss or something similar on top. Highly recommended as a cool-toned tint. When applied over a nude lip, it creates a truly beautiful color payoff. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells a bit. A cool-toned bright item for winter. It's a vivid medium-high chroma cherry red. However, it's less fluorescent than expected and not too bright, so even those with cool deep skin tones can use it well as a subtle accent. It's a brighter cherry to purple-red compared to Cherry Bomb, and I found myself reaching for this one more often. In photos: Cherry Bomb, Fizz, and Heart Back Mankai. The formula applies thickly and doesn't adhere well to the lips, which is really disappointing. It's exactly the same as in the photos. 2) The staying power is remarkable. 3) It doesn't transfer easily. 1) The color is so intense that if you don't apply it carefully, you might end up looking like a clown. For someone like me who loves matte and red lips, it's no exaggeration to say this is my holy grail lipstick. It applies smoothly and the color payoff is incredibly intense. Like most lip products, it can be a disaster if you don't properly exfoliate your lips beforehand.
