I initially thought this was a sunscreen and used it as such, but I noticed on Hwahae that it's actually categorized as a makeup base. No wonder it had such a brilliant glow! Despite its radiance, it doesn't feel overly rich when applied. It goes on smoothly with a moisturizing feel. I liked how it evens skin tone just enough. And perhaps because it's more hydrating than a typical brightening moisturizer, it didn't cause any pilling. In summer, it might give off a bit too much of a dewy look, almost appearing oily. Even in the current season, the glow was a bit intense for my liking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 23, 2019
Perfect for a quick, light application before heading out. It provides a natural brightening effect, giving you that 'no-makeup makeup' look - like you're bare-faced, but better! It's a bit rich, so applying sunscreen on top can make your face feel heavy. However, using this alone doesn't provide enough sun protection, which is a bit concerning... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2019
It applies smoothly and even though I have dry skin, when used as a base, it brightens my complexion and helps my makeup adhere better. After some time, I notice a bit of oiliness coming through, which is somewhat disappointing. - so******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessFeb 3, 2019
I bought this based on an employee's recommendation, but now I'm questioning why... What did they know to suggest this? The eye irritation is incredibly strong, and after use, my face's oil control is non-existent - it's like an oil slick! This product actually increases sebum production. The artificial fragrance even makes me feel nauseous. What should I do? If there's one positive, it's the brightening effect, but that's it. My skin texture feels significantly damaged... I have no intention of repurchasing. Tony Moly has many great value-for-money products, but this one seems to be a failure. I'm sorry to say. This product doesn't seem competitive at all... What's worse, I bought it when it wasn't on sale, and at that time it was excluded from the sale items. I feel like I've been completely duped. I was such a sucker! Honestly... if you have this, you might want to consider throwing it away. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2019
The fragrance is lovely. It applies smoothly, which is nice. However, the coverage is not particularly impressive. I experienced a slight tingling sensation when applying it. It feels quite rich on the skin. As for evening out the complexion, it only does so very minimally. - cw****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2019
I tried to think of something positive, but there's nothing. The only thing it does is even out skin tone, and that's really it. I got folliculitis after using this. Thank goodness I only used a sample; this product was truly awful for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopic SkinSep 9, 2018
It naturally evens out the skin tone. It really does brighten the complexion a bit. It's hard to control the amount, and it makes my face feel sticky. Probably won't repurchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 2, 2018
Fresh scent, slight brightening effect, no pilling. If you have dry skin, you might be somewhat satisfied with the subtle glow it provides. Glow? No way, this is pure oil! Extremely greasy. Not only does it leave your skin oily, but it also ruins your makeup. Tiny blemishes started appearing - this product seems to be the culprit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 10, 2018
It's clear that this product gives a natural tone-up effect that's especially suitable for men. The rich formula would be great for those with dry skin. When applied, it makes your face feel hot and flushed. It's almost too warm, if that makes sense. The product is extremely rich, to the point where your skin looks excessively oily. While it seemed nice when I tested it in-store, using it at home was a different story. Unfortunately, it's causing more blemishes for me. Well, I suppose you could use it as a brightening moisturizer when going out, and it might work well in winter too!
