I'm not typically one for heavy makeup - my usual routine is just sunscreen and brow mascara. I've been using this product every 2-3 days for about two weeks, and I find it less irritating than the needle-shot brand serum I used before. It also cleanses off easily. Still, I prefer a slight squeaky-clean feeling, so I gently double cleanse. The product comes in a solid form, but it melts smoothly on your face with your body heat. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't have extremely acne-prone or super sensitive skin. While I didn't experience any blemishes or notable side effects, I have quite normal skin. I think this product might be too harsh for those with hypersensitive or acne-prone skin. - su********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 11, 2025
[Individual Packaging] Perfect for travel, easy to carry around [Amount] Initially used up one pack without realizing, but it's enough for 3-4 uses! [Sweet Scent] The sweet fragrance adds a boost to a tiring day I'd say it has as much aromatherapy effect as bath salts or pillow mists [Cleansing Power] Even as a second cleanser (see photo), it removes all makeup residue Haven't tried it after heavy makeup though! [Painless Shot] Expected 500 shots to sting, but felt nothing - zero fear! [Soft Hydration] Despite being a cleanser, it leaves skin feeling as soft as after applying serum or moisturizer No tightness after washing! [Outdoor Use?] At home, I tend to reach for pump or squeeze bottle cleansing oils more often [Hygiene] Can be used multiple times, but unsure how to store after opening The rounded bottom makes it hard to stand upright Fine for personal use, but feels unhygienic in a shared bathroom If stored in the mirror cabinet, I tend to forget about it Found an eye balm container with a matching bottom hole - now I can attach and store it, somewhat solving the hygiene issue! - co*******Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 6, 2025
The product comes in 12 individual capsules, making it hygienic to use one at a time. The amount is generous - I was able to use each capsule twice. With persistent rubbing, it removed even waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It contains spicules for gentle exfoliation, making it suitable for sensitive skin without causing irritation. You might not need a separate exfoliator when using this. It has a lovely lavender color and comes in a balm-like texture. It melts softly when you massage it onto your face. While the amount in each capsule is generous, it's a bit inconvenient to transfer the leftover product to a small plastic bag. I did this to prevent air exposure, which might affect the quality. It feels a bit cumbersome. Rubbing repeatedly to remove mascara might cause some irritation. It's probably better to use a separate makeup remover for that. This cleansing balm seems to be a multitasking product that cleanses, exfoliates, and removes makeup. Its capsule packaging ensures freshness and hygiene. The texture appears to be soft and easy to use, melting upon contact with the skin. While it's effective for most makeup, including waterproof products, it might be a bit harsh for eye makeup removal. The spicules provide gentle exfoliation, which is great for maintaining smooth skin, but those with extremely sensitive skin might want to be cautious. Overall, it seems like a convenient and effective cleansing option, especially for those who appreciate a bit of exfoliation in their cleansing routine. - on*********Dry SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2025
It's become an essential part of my nighttime skincare routine lately...! I was really worried that using a spatula would hurt, but this one didn't hurt at all!! I highly recommend it for beginners. I had a lot of dead skin cells on my face, but after using it for about 2-3 days, I noticed a significant reduction in flakiness, and my makeup started to apply much more smoothly! You can divide one capsule into 3-4 uses, but once you remove the cap, you can't close it again. You'll need to tie the lid with something like a rubber band...! Otherwise, it seems like foreign particles might get in! - yo*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It would have been nice if a spatula was included • How to use: Apply the cleansing balm all over your face and massage thoroughly > Emulsify with a bit of water > Rinse off > Follow with a foaming cleanser for double cleansing > Finish with your skincare routine! - ho*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 16, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Cleansing effectiveness This was my first time using a balm-type cleanser, and it removes makeup gently and thoroughly! I use it as my first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser, and it gets everything off completely! 2. Hygienic Typically, I'm not a fan of balm cleansers because you need to scoop them out with a spatula or your fingers, which feels a bit unsanitary. However, I love that this product comes in individual packets! You can use one, toss it, and open a fresh one next time. The individual packaging also makes it perfect for travel! 3. Scent It has that distinctive scent typical of collagen-infused products, but it's subtle and pleasant. I enjoyed the fragrance while cleansing. One area for improvement would be to reduce the amount in each packet and increase the number of packets. There's a bit too much product for a single cleanse. As I mentioned earlier, I think the single-use aspect is a big advantage, but often I find myself with an awkward amount left over or feeling like I need to use more than necessary. - gm********Combination SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 4, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's perfect for travel too! The scent is subtle, making it pleasant to use without any overwhelming fragrance. It's hygienic and the amount is generous - one packet is enough for a thorough cleanse. The texture is gentle and spreads easily without irritation. It removes makeup effectively and leaves my skin feeling hydrated after washing. It's great for daily use without any concerns. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it, and there wasn't anything I found disappointing about the product. - ly*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 4, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While there was a slight tingling sensation during application, I didn't find it irritating at all. The formula melts quickly with body heat, allowing for a gentle cleansing experience. It effectively removed makeup without any issues. I'm aware that spicule products come in various formulations, especially in skincare. There weren't any downsides... Really, there weren't any! - iy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMar 4, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's filled to the brim in the container. When you first apply it, it comes out in clumps, so you need to spread it with your hands. It emulsifies well with water. It's described as a balm+oil+milk formula, but I like that it's not too oily. It cleanses sebum well due to good emulsification, but it's best to follow up with toner after washing. 1. The individual packaging is great for travel, and each sachet is generously sized - enough for about two uses. Another advantage of the individual packaging is that you don't have to worry about water getting in. 2. There's a scent, which I personally found quite pleasant. 3. Despite being a cleanser, it feels gentle on the skin and leaves it soft. I think this is due to its moisturizing properties. The amount in each sachet is a bit awkward for a single use, and the individual packaging can be inconvenient for daily use. Use it when traveling and split each sachet in half. After using, make sure to properly remove any sebum that has come to the surface. - ru********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 3, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

At first, I thought, 'Is this really removing everything?' But after cleansing, I was surprised to see almost no residue when I wiped with a cotton pad. No tightness after cleansing Usually, after using cleansing oil or foam cleanser, my skin feels dry and I rush to apply toner. But with this, my skin feels moisturized even after washing. It's not greasy or oily, more like a hydrating barrier on the skin? Doesn't irritate eyes Sometimes cleansing oils can sting my eyes, but this didn't cause much irritation even when it got in my eyes. I could use it comfortably even with contact lenses. Effective makeup removal and skin feels moisturized after cleansing - very satisfying! However, the balm texture might feel unfamiliar at first as it's quite solid The scent might be hit or miss depending on personal preference 'If you're looking for a moisturizing cleansing balm, I recommend this!' It might be especially suitable for dry skin types or those who dislike tightness after cleansing. The balm is quite solid at first When scooping it out, it was so solid at first that I thought, 'Do I need to melt this in my palms?' But it melts quickly with body heat when you rub it on your face, so it's fine once you get used to it. Still, first-time users might be a bit surprised. The scent might be divisive It's not an overpowering fragrance, but it lingers subtly. Personally, I prefer unscented products over artificial fragrances, so it bothered me a little at first. However, it fades quickly, so it wasn't a major issue. Use on dry face The balm doesn't melt well if your hands or face are wet, so it's best to start with dry skin. (I was confused when it didn't melt well after I accidentally got water on it at first, haha) Use while massaging face Initially, I just rubbed it on, but if you melt it slightly in your palms and apply it while massaging your face, the makeup dissolves faster. Pay extra attention to areas like the sides of your nose and jawline for a thorough cleanse. Can finish without double cleansing Normally, I always follow up with a foam cleanser after using oil, but with this, just rinsing with water left my skin feeling clean, so I didn't need to double cleanse. (Those with oily skin might still prefer a second cleanse!)
