I have combination sensitive skin with an oily T-zone, redness and dryness on my cheeks, and I'm prone to blemishes. When I first got this, I thought it would be heavy since it's a functional cream, but it's surprisingly lightweight. It's not as light as a hydrating moisturizer, but somewhere between that and a nourishing cream. There's also hardly any distinct scent, which makes it pleasant to apply. I stopped using my other skincare products and tried using just this cream alone. With this routine, one application provides just the right amount of moisture for my oily T-zone, but my cheeks feel a bit dry, so I apply a small amount all over and then add an extra layer on my cheeks and jawline. Usually, when I apply cream this generously, I end up with at least small bumps or even major blemishes, but I haven't experienced any of that with this cream. It also seems to calm my redness better than previous products I've used. I've tried it under sunscreen and cushion foundation, and there was no flaking or pilling of dead skin cells. I've always had bad luck with creams, so I didn't expect much, but this one is surprisingly good. If it maintains this level of effectiveness, I'd definitely consider repurchasing.
Given the amount of product, I expected it to come with a spatula, but it didn't, which was a bit disappointing. It's tricky to control how much you use. When you apply it, it goes on white, so even a small amount feels like you're applying a lot. But if you use too little, your skin feels dry.
Make sure to pat the product in well to help it absorb. Otherwise, you might end up with an intense white cast.
