It only removes peach fuzz, and you're lucky if you get one or two blackheads out each time... truly a product that's not worth your hard-earned cash. For pore-tightening packs, try putting them in the freezer while you're using the nose pack. When you use them after, they feel refreshingly cool.
wl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneAtopic SkinJul 16, 2016 (UTC+0)I liked how it was designed to effectively extract sebum. Unfortunately, it didn't work well on blackheads, which was disappointing. - sh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2016 (UTC+0)
I'm not sure about the extraction part, but the last 3rd sheet was really great. My skin is dry, so when I use scrubs or nose packs, my skin tends to peel a lot. But this one closed my pores and calmed my skin at the end, which I really appreciated. I heard it was good on social media, so I thought I'd give it a try. I even deliberately created some blackheads to test it out. But it didn't work well, and I lost count of how many I used in a day... - 42***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcneBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJan 26, 2016 (UTC+0)
Well... I guess the only positive thing was that it came in three convenient steps. For me, it was really terrible. While my blackheads weren't particularly severe, they still bothered me, so I bought this. But it just caused blemishes on my face, made my blackheads worse, and left my nose red and tight. Plus, it didn't even work! (I have quite sensitive skin, to be honest.) I strongly advise against it unless you have extremely severe blackheads. They say you need to use nose packs consistently once you start.
po*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityJan 22, 2016 (UTC+0)The 3-step process of opening pores, extracting sebum, and closing pores is conveniently combined in one product. It's quite effective at removing excess oil and seems to prevent pore enlargement, giving me a sense of reassurance. The nose pack sheet in the second step is smaller than other typical nose packs. I wish it were a bit larger. While the product isn't bad, considering the price and the fact that it's a 3-step process, it ends up being quite tedious. I probably won't repurchase it. - sh*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2016 (UTC+0)
I bought this due to the advertising, and it doesn't seem to cause much irritation. While it's not significantly different from other brands, it's still pretty decent. I was disappointed that it doesn't seem to remove sebum as well as I expected. The effects aren't as impressive as the ads make it out to be. - fh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneOct 10, 2015 (UTC+0)
I initially bought 5 of these out of curiosity along with the Aqua Glow Serum Gel. Wow... I've tried brands like Etude House, Tony Moly, The Face Shop, Innisfree, and Elizabeth Arden, but this is something else! First, the pore-opening step really opens up your pores like you've used a steam towel. For the second step, I thought it would be just like any other pore pack, but I was blown away! It stretches to fit my wide nostrils perfectly and extracts blackheads and whiteheads like crazy. The last step is similar to other brands. I'll definitely repurchase this when I run out! The Aqua Glow Serum Gel was underwhelming (don't buy it), but this pore pack is amazing. It's even better than Elizabeth Arden - W.Lab is the best! If you're on the fence about buying it, definitely give it a try. You won't find such dramatic results with other pore packs. Those of us with large pores and lots of blackheads know that when your pores are wide, blackheads only come out from the middle part of the pore. Did you know that? Other pore packs are all the same in this regard. I'm just mentioning this as a minor drawback since you asked. Everything else is pretty much the same as other products. I've always struggled with pores and blackheads, so I've tried many pore packs. Here's a pro tip: you need to peel off the pack very, very slowly! That's how you get the best results. Also, never put water on top of the pore pack. Always apply water first! Make sure to spread the water evenly without large droplets. For areas like the sides of your nose, use something like the tail end of a comb to press the pack firmly. This ensures it adheres perfectly to your nose, leading to better extraction. I hope you have great success managing your pores with W.Lab. I highly recommend it! - tv*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2015 (UTC+0)
I decided to try the W.Lab product that was on sale, and I must say it's great at extracting sebum! I have to give credit where it's due. What's more, it's the least painful nose pack I've ever used when peeling it off! I was amazed at how well it removed both whiteheads and blackheads. It's also convenient because it includes a pore-closing step, so I don't need to use cold water separately. While it's effective at extraction, it doesn't completely close the pores. My pores have gotten larger, but I suppose that's better than having them clogged with sebum. From what I can see, it still closes pores better than other nose packs I've tried. The instructions say to wet the pack thoroughly, but I find it works better if I don't use too much water. I apply it moderately, and after peeling it off, if I see any remaining sebum, I wet that spot and reapply the pack where it still has some stickiness. Then I wait, and that sebum comes off too! Also, while they recommend leaving it on for 15 minutes, I've found that waiting until the pack becomes firm before removing it extracts even more sebum!
