I bought this after seeing on YouTube that it works synergistically with Benefit's Pore Primer. While it seems to reduce shine from pores, I'm not sure if it's actually concealing them. The powder has a nice apricot tint. I like that it doesn't leave a chalky, powdery look when applied to the face. The built-in brush and package design are pretty. The scent is unpleasant. It feels like it only partially controls oil on the skin, and the brush is too harsh. When I tried applying it by patting with my fingers, it clumped terribly. I find myself not using it much after buying. These days, there are better powders for oil control and pore coverage. It doesn't seem worth seeking out this discontinued product. - mj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2020
Well... I guess the scent is nice? And the powder particles are very fine. I bought this product a while ago, but I've barely used it. Here's why: 1. The built-in brush is too harsh on the skin. Not only is the brush ineffective at minimizing pores, but it also feels prickly and seems to irritate my sensitive skin when I use it. 2. It's inconvenient to dispense the product. To be honest, flat powder compacts with puffs (like the famous Innis*** powder) are the most user-friendly. The one I got requires scooping out the powder each time, which is a hassle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2020
It really covers pores exceptionally well. Surprisingly, it's not as drying as I expected, and it covers pores with a soft, matte finish. In my opinion, it's far superior to my usual pore-covering powder. When you open the powder and tap some into the lid, perhaps a bit too much product comes out at once. - le*******Oily SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2020
A few hours after applying makeup, when oil starts to show on my nose bridge and makeup begins to fade, I just gently pat this on a few times and it covers everything up nicely However, it only comes in one shade. As someone with a lighter complexion, it didn't match my skin tone well. - ha*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresNov 3, 2019
I decided to buy this after a beauty creator on YouTube highly recommended it. I have oily skin with large pores, so after my skincare routine, I apply The Porefessional primer. Then, after completing my makeup, I lightly dust a small amount of this product over areas where pores are more noticeable as the final step. It doesn't really conceal pores that well... After carefully covering my pores with makeup, using the brush that comes with it - even when applying very gently - makes the pores visible again. It's like... you've meticulously filled in a patch of ground, only to excavate it all over again. It's better to either apply it with a powder puff instead of the brush, or not use it at all. If you must use it, apply it with the intention of slightly reducing oiliness. - hh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 16, 2019
I really liked that it's not too white. It's also conveniently portable, fitting even in a mini bag. The built-in brush is quite rough, sometimes causing a tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2019
I absolutely love that it comes with a built-in brush, so I don't need to carry one separately. It's perfect for my dry skin, just catching that light oil that surfaces. The product doesn't apply thick, but it's light enough to even cover pores, making it an amazing find! I'm not a fan of white oil-absorbing powders, so I'm extra pleased that this has a slight yellow tone to it. The only minor drawback is that it doesn't come with a mirror, but I'm still completely satisfied using it regardless. Just apply a small amount lightly to the brush and gently pat it onto areas where oil has surfaced to absorb excess sebum. Then, use circular motions to blend. It covers pores without pilling or clumping. You can even dab it on your eyebrows when they get oily, and it absorbs the oil like magic! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 2, 2019
They say it covers pores like a dream! But what about the oil in those pores, huh? What's a girl to do? I've got some noticeable pores on my nose. Am I the only one not getting coverage? My pores aren't even that large, so why aren't they being concealed, and why isn't it controlling the oil? I'm still using it because I don't want to waste money, but I'm not thrilled. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2018
The particles are so fine and it gives such a lovely matte finish! It's perfect for combination dehydrated skin makeup. The built-in brush bristles are a bit small and short, making it difficult to cover the entire face and potentially causing irritation. I just checked the ingredients on Hwahae for the first time, and it contains talc and ethanol, which made me deduct another star! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2018
Great for achieving a matte skin finish. Convenient to carry around. However, the drawbacks outweighed the benefits for this product. As a powder type, it's inconvenient to use by twisting the cap to dispense the powder. The built-in brush is extremely rough and painful. It claims to smooth out pores, but I didn't notice any significant effect. Using the built-in brush actually causes clumping. While using a primer first and finishing with this powder might enhance the effect, I didn't feel it was worth the price.
