The texture is quite moisturizing, so I use it in both summer and winter. The finish feels slightly powdery. Recently, I've had some blemishes pop up, but it doesn't have enough coverage to completely hide them. I don't really prioritize coverage, so it didn't bother me. While it can't cover deep scars, it does conceal minor imperfections. I have a darker complexion (between shades 23-25, not tanned), and after testing, this shade suits me best. It should work well for those with slightly darker skin tones. I wouldn't say it's a perfect match, but I'm using it fairly well. Although it has a moisturizing and runny consistency, it doesn't feel particularly hydrating when applied to the face. It works wonders for those with good skin! It doesn't feel heavy on the skin either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2019
As a 30-year-old man with pronounced skin texture, I find that overly powdery or matte products tend to accentuate my uneven skin. However, this product applies with a moisturizing feel and gives a nice glow that helps minimize the appearance of texture. While the coverage isn't perfect, it's enough for a man to naturally conceal redness without looking made-up. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a natural makeup look. With my oily skin, once it starts to break down, it's difficult to touch up with oil control powder or regular powder. It tends to cake up or wipe off, so I've resorted to carrying the compact puff and touching up with the product itself. They keep recommending the cushion from the same line, but it feels more like a foundation and isn't particularly affordable, so I'm still on the fence about purchasing it. Using an air puff or silicone puff seems to give a better application than a sponge puff. - ra******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2019
It absorbs well and comes in a variety of shades, making it easy to choose. It looks very natural and doesn't give away that you're wearing makeup, which is great. While it's natural-looking, the coverage is a bit lacking. I have oily skin, and when I apply it after cleansing, it feels somewhat matte to me. - hy*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2018
I'm a 20-year-old with combination skin and lots of cystic acne. Due to my cystic acne, I'm very particular about choosing foundation. I recently bought this product recommended at Sephora while abroad. The best thing is it doesn't look cakey, and it applies so naturally that I don't use any other foundation now. Since using this, my acne seems to have noticeably improved - maybe it suits my skin well! The absorption is excellent, and there's absolutely no heavy feeling after application. I was amazed by its feather-light feel, as if I'm wearing nothing at all. I highly recommend this product to those who dislike thick, kabuki-style makeup when applying foundation. It's made me understand the saying 'when your base makeup looks good, you're motivated to do the rest of your makeup'. This is my holy grail product, and I hope many people with similar skin types will try it. After all, we should share good things, right? I trust the Hwahae community will make wise decisions. Have a great day! If I had to point out a downside, I'd say the coverage is quite low. This might be because it applies so lightly. As someone with a lot of cystic acne, I justify using this product by thinking that full-coverage makeup wouldn't be good for my blemishes anyway. I'm sticking with this product regardless! It still provides decent coverage - it's especially good at covering redness and smaller pimples. It only falls short with cystic acne. Even so, I've heard my skin has improved a lot since using this product, so I still recommend it! Tip: It's quite matte, so for those with combination skin like me, applying a soothing cream underneath helps the makeup go on better. Also, remember that everyone's complexion is different, so make sure to find the shade that's closest to your skin tone. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 8, 2017
It looks natural and doesn't smudge. Plus, it stays the same even after hours of wear! Well, it feels a bit heavy at first, but it absorbs so naturally that you stop noticing it after a while. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 16, 2016
The application with a brush seems to create a nice blend and looks natural The coverage is so sheer that you definitely need to use a concealer. While it's somewhat better when applied with a brush, it's almost too natural-looking – as if you're not wearing any makeup at all - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2016
This is a great alternative to BB cream for men. It applies smoothly, and I found the coverage to be quite good! As a man, I wish the staying power was better. The social perception isn't quite there yet for touch-ups in public. Instead, I'm using powder to extend its wear time. Using powder helps the product last longer - qw**Oily SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2016
The formula flows like water but dries to a matte finish. That's about all I can say for it. The coverage is absolutely terrible. It has a yellow base, but it can't even cover redness as well as an air cushion. What a waste of money! - jh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2016
A versatile foundation suitable for combination to dry skin types. It offers decent coverage and feels moisturizing. I think it's the most appropriate shade for men to use. Personally, I prefer the pre-renewal HD version. Since changing to UHD, it tends to break down messily when it wears off. I thought I'd found my holy grail foundation after using 3 bottles of the HD, but I'm hesitant to repurchase the UHD version. Use it with the Shu Uemura lightbulb sponge
