To be honest, I bought this with a friend without really knowing what it was. We just decided to try it after hearing about its pore-minimizing effects. At first, I thought I'd been duped by the department store employee, but I'm genuinely using it well before makeup to reduce the appearance of my pores. There are no downsides! While it's a bit pricey, it's truly effective! The pore-minimizing effect is amazing. You can use this even after applying makeup. Those with oily skin, don't hesitate to purchase it. - tn*******Combination SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2020
I consider this the champion of pore primers. I've tried many famous primers, but nothing compares to this one when it comes to concealing pores. It's truly unbeatable! The quantity is disappointingly small. Although a little goes a long way in covering pores, its soft texture means it can run out quickly if you're not careful. The price is wickedly high. Just a quick swipe and you're done! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2018
I tend to apply makeup very thinly and lightly, as I dislike heavy coverage but still need to cover small wrinkles on my face. That's when I discovered this product! I use it for the nasolabial folds around my nose. After finishing my skincare routine and applying sunscreen, I dab this on, and its firm texture is excellent for filling in those specific wrinkles. It's perfect for slightly concealing the nasolabial folds, and when I layer my cushion foundation on top, it gives that flawless skin-perfecting effect! Given its stick format and small size, it might not be sufficient if you're looking for a primer to use all over your face. It's quite firm, which makes it suitable for filling in small areas, but the absorption isn't ideal for spreading it across the entire face. * If you're like me and want that 'bare-faced yet flawless complexion' look, but have some fine lines or visible pores, this is perfect when used under a cushion foundation. It gives that camera filter skin-perfecting effect! * Be careful not to apply too much as it's quite firm and could potentially cause pilling if overused. - ap*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2018
Easy to carry and apply thanks to its convenient stick format. The ingredients feel good quality. It noticeably reduces oiliness when applied. Stays solid without melting even in summer, applying smoothly. When used on oily areas, it effectively controls sebum and leaves skin feeling powdery soft. The price feels a bit steep. When applying foundation after this product, the foundation's absorption seems slightly reduced. - cl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2018
I went to test foundations and ended up falling head over heels for this one! It's truly innovative. As someone who sweats a lot and has an oily T-zone, I've always stuck to long-lasting foundations. This stick is amazing - it's not matte, gives a smooth finish, and covers pores beautifully. After applying this stick, my makeup didn't pill at all. I even layered a long-lasting foundation on top and worked out - my makeup didn't budge an inch! I just apply it to my nose bridge (where pores are largest and sebum production is highest - the area you'd typically use a pore strip on). Then I lightly apply foundation, and it leaves my skin feeling powder-soft. Even after an hour of intense, sweaty exercise, it holds up well. Oil may surface, but the makeup doesn't smear or crack. It's such a great find! I can't believe I discovered this gem so late - it's truly a game-changer! The store staff said it was good for touch-ups too, but when I tried to use it that way, everything just smeared. I'm not sure if I'm using it incorrectly... At the store, they showed me how to use it - glide the stick on, then gently pat in circular motions to fill in pores. Following their method works perfectly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2018
It seems to smooth out slight skin texture irregularities and does a decent job covering pores When applied with a brush, it tends to pill and slide, revealing pores again. It takes a lot of effort to make it work Dabbing it on with a damp cushion puff seems to cover pores more effectively - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 4, 2018
Recently, I've been stressed about my enlarged pores on my nose and cheeks. Even with makeup, my nose area would stand out and the makeup wouldn't adhere well. After reading reviews, I decided to purchase this product. It's only been a week of use, but the difference between using it and not using it is already remarkable! The effectiveness is outstanding. Compared to the Porefessional by Benefit that I used before, this feels a bit more rich, if I had to say. While it does leave a powdery finish, unlike Benefit where I sometimes had pilling issues if I applied too much, this product doesn't have that problem. It seems to suit my dry skin well, so I'm giving it a high score! The price is quite steep for the amount you get... However, the application is so good that I'm considering repurchasing, so I can't say I'm too disappointed. - ao*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 3, 2018
Instantly fills in uneven texture like pores and fine lines. Easy to apply, doesn't feel heavy, and immediately mattifies shine in those areas. It has a silicone-like finish that smooths everything out. Why does it rub off when you apply makeup over it? You have to apply this as the very last step if you want to fake a bare-faced look. Ironically, it doesn't give any glow when you actually wear makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2017
I tested it in-store and the effects were quite impressive. It was visibly noticeable. They said it could be used anytime after makeup, and while the effects were pretty good, I felt somewhat uneasy. Using the stick for touch-ups after applying makeup, then trying to cover with cushion foundation again felt somehow stifling? Suffocating? Heavy? Unfortunately, it's not a product I reach for often. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 23, 2017
I use this as a primer before applying my Bobby stick foundation. As a guy, I appreciate the stick format since I don't like getting product on my hands. It's great at controlling oil and super convenient to carry around. The price is a bit steep considering the small amount of product. It's a bummer that the white stick gets tinted when used after makeup as a powder or blotting paper alternative. Wiping it clean feels wasteful since it reduces the product, which is already so precious given the quantity. This could be a good alternative for those who find using a separate primer tedious.
