It applies in a super thin layer, but the coverage is excellent. It doesn't break down much throughout the day and gives a beautiful skin finish. When you first open it, the cushion contents aren't well mixed, so you need to blend it once before using. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2022
1. It applies thinly and creates a beautiful skin appearance. 2. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it applies moistly and finishes with a slightly matte look. 1. Expensive price (but this product is worth every penny!) 2. It might not adhere well for those with very dry skin. - lh******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2021
It breaks down beautifully and doesn't cause any deep dryness at all As someone with larger pores, I was a bit disappointed that it didn't completely fill them in. However, when it does break down, it does so gracefully, leaving a smooth finish The formula seems to set quickly, so instead of dotting it all over your face, it's better to apply it to one area at a time, blending as you go - na****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2021
I originally used Estée Lauder Double Wear BB Cushion, but it had a slight tendency to clump. After using it for a while, I switched to the Givenchy cushion because I heard it had a lightweight finish! We all know how frustrating it can be when cushions clump or don't work well with oily skin or poor skin conditions. Even the same product can perform so differently! That's why I needed a cushion that was lightweight, could control my extremely oily skin, and had good staying power - and this one was a success! I think I'll keep using it despite the price, unless something better comes along. Personally, I'd rate this product out of 5 points as follows: Pore coverage: 5/5 Longevity: 5/5 Coverage: 3/5 (Can't cover large blemishes or acne scars) Redness coverage: 3/5 Those who've used this cushion probably know that the Givenchy cushion alone doesn't provide enough coverage. It feels like you're applying makeup with a slightly thick puff... it definitely won't cover acne scars. Don't get your hopes up! Also, I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. If you apply a thin layer of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation using a damp puff, then follow up with the Givenchy cushion to cover the butterfly zone and T-zone, you'll get better coverage! I really, really recommend this method! For the puff, buy one from Daebun, dampen it with cold water, and it becomes wonderfully fluffy! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2021
Controls oil well, doesn't transfer onto masks, lasts all day without smudging, and above all, the case is absolutely gorgeous! It can be a bit matte, but with a face mist, it's not really an issue... For touch-ups, I haven't found anything better! I'm sticking with this from now on! - kj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2021
1. Staying Power ⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️(5/5) - No need for touch-ups or powder - Slight oil breakthrough in the evening, but makeup doesn't break down - Great foundation for oily skin 2. Adherence ⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️(5/5) - Sets very quickly, so you need to blend with the puff rapidly - Stays put all day long 3. Coverage ⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5) - Covers dark acne scars effectively - Hides redness from acne and sensitive skin - Conceals texture issues - Masks blackheads - Minimizes pores - Wow... For such a thin foundation, the coverage is amazing! - Coverage increases with layering without looking cakey... How is this possible? - Satisfactory coverage for texture, blackheads, pores, and redness - Covers about 80-85% of blemishes and dark scars 4. Skin Finish ⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️(5/5) - Absolutely thrilled - Thin, powdery, and lightweight - Feels like a sheer Double Wear with a light dusting of translucent powder - From a distance, the foundation's velvety glow makes skin look naturally flawless - Never looks heavy or cakey - Applies smoothly with a matte finish but doesn't emphasize dead skin cells - Even when oil emerges slightly over time, it still looks beautiful, not messy 5. Color Match ⭐⭐(2/5) - I'm shade 22 warm tone, not particularly fair-skinned, with thin skin showing various undertones (pink, yellow, green, ashy) (Light 23: Very natural / Regular 21: Bright) - Givenchy Cushion C105: Regret choosing this color... It's too pale, like I've dusted flour on my face. Is this what a 17 shade looks like? Not sure, but it's definitely too light and white for me. Looking at undertone alone, it lacks warmth on my face and appears pallid! Overall, if this is the undertone, I don't think I'd like even a darker shade 1. Blemishes I usually break out more when using matte foundations as they clog my pores, and this one does the same. 2. Dryness While not as drying as Double Wear, it's still quite dehydrating. It can cause red, itchy patches on my forehead that look like insect bites. 3. Quick Setting When layering, unblended foundation can leave marks if you're not fast enough. Make sure to pat quickly with the puff! 4. No Refills and Expensive However! For those with oily skin who absolutely hate thick bases, give this a try! You'll understand what a cushion worth its price feels like. 💗Oily Skin + Thin Foundation + Powdery Finish + Medium-High Coverage💗 - ds*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2021
I used to use Chanel before, but this is 55 million times better! The coverage is great and it lasts well. It feels a bit heavier than Yves Saint Laurent when applying, but I'm still satisfied. It feels extremely drying. Even though my skin isn't particularly great, I don't usually feel much dryness. But with this, I feel a deep dryness right after application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2021
We can all relate - the ultimate nomad product has to be liquid or cushion foundation, right? I've finally found my holy grail... 1. Coverage: Western beauty trends favor a more natural look overall. If you're after heavy coverage, I wouldn't recommend this product. It does provide coverage, but you'll need concealer for problem areas. If you hate that thick, heavy feeling on your face, this is absolutely perfect. The pore coverage is phenomenal, like you've applied powder... You might think powder means dryness, but this is the cushion world's version of 'crisp on the outside, moist on the inside'. Truly. Matte types can sometimes make your skin feel tight as time passes, but there's none of that here. 2. Longevity: Lately, I've hated how makeup transfers onto masks, gets all humid and hot inside, and turns greasy. But not with this! The staying power is incredible, and it barely transfers to your mask. It's a real game-changer. 3. Darkening: I've never seen a cushion that doesn't darken like this before. Usually, the initial color disappears, leaving your face looking yellow or ashy. If you want a cushion that doesn't do that, head to the department store right now! 4. Breakdown: Givenchy, I applaud you for this beautiful skin glow. No more product buildup around the nose - that's ancient history. Everyone's experience is different, but this is my review after using it. I'm sticking with this, even if it's pricey. It's worth every penny, no regrets at all. For those with dry skin, make sure your skincare base is solid before using, but I think it's fine. The only real downside... the case looks super luxurious, even from a distance. But, oh boy, it's a fingerprint magnet! Its beauty makes up for it, but it would be perfect if it didn't collect fingerprints. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2021
You really don't need to apply powder afterwards - it gives such a soft, matte finish! It evens out my skin tone without feeling thick, and has a wonderfully lightweight feel. I usually use shade 22, but I wanted a brighter look so I chose 105, and it gave me that perfect radiant complexion. I think shade 21 would look incredibly natural on most people! I saw many YouTube reviews saying it goes on moisturizing but sets quickly. However, it sets almost too fast, making it a bit tricky to use. While it might not be an issue for those with small pores, I wouldn't recommend it for people with larger pores. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2021
The adherence is incredibly good! As someone with oily skin, I found the matte finish quite nice. As a warm-toned person who usually uses shade 21, I'm a bit disappointed that there's hardly any difference in the tone.
