When applied before cushion or foundation, it significantly improves adherence compared to not using it. As it's a tone-up sunbase, you don't necessarily need to apply sunscreen separately. It's convenient to use, just like applying an emulsion, with this one product. While the volume is a bit disappointing for the price, Bobbi Brown is the only primer that works well for my dry skin, so I'm using it despite the cost... - ka********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2024
I used to skip primers because they were a hassle, but this product made me a convert! ✔️ Skin glow: It instantly gives your skin a natural radiance and slight corrective effect, making it look healthier✨ Sometimes when I'm feeling lazy, I just apply this and head out! ✔️ Serum-like benefits: Though it's a primer, it provides hydration and nourishment like a serum, keeping your skin moisturized without any dryness. ✔️ Light texture: The lightweight, fresh formula absorbs into the skin effortlessly without feeling heavy. It doesn't pill when applied before makeup, but blends in naturally. Unlike other primers that can ball up like dead skin cells or emphasize flakiness, I've never experienced that with this product. ✔️ Long-lasting makeup: While it may not be dramatically different, there's a noticeable improvement in makeup longevity on days I use it versus days I don't. It helps my base makeup stay put for longer. ✔️ Fragrance: It has a subtle, luxurious scent that's quite pleasant. It reminds me slightly of herbal medicine, but I enjoy it. It gives me a mood boost every time I do my makeup🌸 ✔️ Price point: It's on the pricier side compared to other primers. However, I haven't found a suitable alternative yet, so I try to purchase it duty-free when possible! ✔️ Packaging: The container is a tube rather than a pump, and if you store it upside down, it can sometimes gush out or leak when opened! I wish they would improve the packaging. A little goes a long way, so you don't need to apply much to see results, and it lasts quite a while. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2023
It's wonderfully hydrating and really helps control redness. There's a huge difference between applying foundation with and without this underneath. When you put on foundation after using this, it doesn't look cakey and I highly recommend it for those with severe redness issues. I honestly can't think of any downsides. It's a product I keep coming back to and using consistently. - j2******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 25, 2022
The texture is incredibly rich and elastic when applied. It has a peachy tint that provides subtle skin correction and seems to slightly fill in pores. The scent is somewhat reminiscent of ginseng, which might be hit or miss for some. As for value for money, considering the price and quantity... it's not exactly a bargain, haha! - hc*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2022
Skin type: Combination dehydrated, extremely oily, enlarged pores in T-zone - Application: Glides on smoothly and thinly No pilling Non-sticky with a matte, powder-like finish Natural brightening effect Decent pore coverage Truly excellent application - Ingredients: No pore-clogging components, so far no blemishes - Packaging: Twist-cap tube might be slightly inconvenient, but it looks luxurious After using Benefit's primer for almost a year, I stumbled upon Bobbi Brown's primer and now I can't stop using it. It's a primer, but it also provides a natural brightening effect and SPF25, making it versatile and useful in many ways. The price... but it's so good that I plan to keep purchasing it. Highly recommended for those who dislike heavy primers!
