I've tried many other products, but nothing compares to this one for its gentleness and ability to prevent cuts after shaving. It's been discontinued. Now I can hardly find it in stores. I really wish they would bring it back. - c7********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 23, 2022
This shaving cream has a rich, creamy texture. When applying, it feels like a cross between a face mask and an emulsion. After use, it leaves your skin feeling nourished, almost as if you've just done a face mask. It's quite pleasant, even though those with very oily skin might feel it could potentially clog pores. However, its cream formula might be a bit divisive. It tends to stick to the razor, requiring thorough rinsing. Also, it comes in a black pot, which might raise hygiene concerns for a frequently used product like shaving cream. While the product itself is good, these practical inconveniences make it hard to give it a high rating. - ho*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2022
I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin. It provides excellent hydration and tends not to cause redness on the skin. If you touch a mirror with hands that have applied this product, the smudges are quite difficult to remove. Try applying it after gently patting your face, leaving it slightly damp. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2022
Unlike other shaving foams, this one doesn't cause blemishes or irritation after use. It has a pleasant scent and protects the skin. The shaving effectiveness isn't compromised either. While it doesn't lather up, you can simply use a bit more of the cream for the same effect. For someone who shaves daily, the price might be a bit steep. Also, since Korean Lush products are made in Japan, this could be a concern for those sensitive to that issue. Buying directly from overseas is cheaper. - ji********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2021
I'm on my second bottle of this product, and I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes after shaving. The staff also mentioned that the Prince line is better for sensitive skin compared to the Dirty line. I feel it might be a bit weak in terms of its primary function as a shaving cream. Since it's not a foam type (which is probably better for the environment), it makes shaving slightly more challenging. For those with super sensitive skin, it's better to use the Prince line rather than the Dirty line. - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2021
I gifted this to my partner! I initially bought the smallest size of 100g to try it out. They say the fragrance is cozy and gentle, and it absorbs into the skin effortlessly! They're satisfied and find it absorbs better than other products, so next time I'll be purchasing the larger Prince size! Thank you for this wonderful product! If you're someone who dislikes fragranced products, you might want to avoid this one... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2021
Being oil-based, it really helped reduce irritation on my skin. Plus, even after shaving, it keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized instead of drying it out. It doesn't give a cooling sensation, and the price is a bit on the steep side... When using it with a razor, make sure to clean your razor thoroughly. - pg*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2021
I convinced my boyfriend to try this Lush product, and now he's using it consistently. He used to get frequent blemishes around his beard area after shaving, but he says that's completely gone since he started using this! Even though it's pricier compared to other brands, the fact that he's already on his third bottle shows how satisfied he is. Now he's even making silly jokes about turning into a prince... He's clearly very pleased with it! Lush products are nearly perfect except for their price point. Just a word of caution: it contains shea butter, so those with oily and super sensitive skin like me might experience breakouts. Be careful! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2021
It seems to have strong hydrating power and causes less irritation after shaving. My skin feels smooth without any cuts. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather. The absorption isn't particularly impressive. I'm not sure how much I should use each time. - go******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2020
I've tried all three of Lush's shaving creams, and I've settled on this one. Dirty had too strong a scent, and the strawberry-scented one (Five O'Clock Whistle, I think?) was overpriced for what it offered. Though all Lush shaving creams are pricey, this one's the winner. I've used Nivea, Schick, and Gillette, but this cream causes the least irritation post-shave. I'm already on my fifth tube of this Lush shaving cream... While I personally like it, there's a slight rubber-like scent that might be divisive. The main drawback, unsurprisingly, is the price.
