It seems like a reliable choice for both morning and evening skincare routines. Personally, I don't think this cream agrees with my skin very well... - mm*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 3, 2024
✔️User's Skin Type I have many acne scars from my teenage years and freckles from sun exposure. Currently, I have dry skin with only one or two pimples appearing before my period. The texture is just right - not too light or heavy, making it easy to apply. It absorbs quickly and doesn't pill when layered. The moisturizing effect feels less intense compared to its texture. It starts as a cream and finishes like an emulsion. Unlike many creams that feel moisturizing at first but become oily over time, this one does the opposite. It absorbs more lightly as it sinks in. Because of this, I felt it was a bit drying. However, I prefer a fresh finish, so I liked it better than something greasy. The ingredients are really good. I especially like the focused formulation with 72% eggplant fruit extract as the main ingredient. Thanks to this, I could apply it comfortably without any blemishes appearing on my skin. The cream is a bit thin and less moisturizing? This wasn't a big issue as I could use it in summer or layer a heavier cream on top. The container is long, so it tends to tip over easily on the vanity. This seems good for dry skin types to use in summer. Compared to the same brand's blemish cream, both the ingredients and the feel on the skin seem much better. - so*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresFeb 6, 2024
First off, the texture is just right - not too thick, not too runny. It's also virtually fragrance-free and doesn't contain any harmful ingredients, which makes it trustworthy. That's my overall impression, and here's the important part about how it feels: It's incredibly gentle. I've never experienced any tingling, even on thin, sensitive areas like around the eyes or mouth. I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, and it seems the lack of irritants is why. Another plus is that it's fragrance-free. Lately, I've been put off by skincare products with overpowering scents, so I appreciate this one's lack of fragrance. Now, let's talk about hydration. When you first apply it, you might think, 'Oh, this feels heavy and rich...' But as you spread it, something interesting happens. That initial sensation fades, and you start to feel more of the hydration. It absorbs well, and once it's fully absorbed, it doesn't feel rich at all. The user experience is quite unique! While everything I mentioned above is true, the more I use it, the more I feel like the hydration is a bit weak. Even in the current season, my skin starts to feel a bit dry not long after application. It might work better with a hydrating toner or serum underneath, but I've never experienced a cream with such weak moisturizing power before. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2023
I absolutely love the gentle ingredients! The application is smooth, and I can feel my skin becoming softer. It's wonderful. There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price... I wish there were more discounts! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 21, 2023
The texture is on the lighter side, which might be good for a quick application. (I personally bought it expecting something more substantial) For those with extremely dry skin, it quickly leaves the skin feeling parched. You can't rely on this product alone... It's not terrible enough for a 1-star rating, but it's not quite average enough for 3 stars. It's somewhere in between... It's not exactly disappointing, but it falls short of being satisfactory Not enough for us with super dry skin. I mix it with Vaseline when applying... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 5, 2023
It absorbs well, leaving a fresh feeling. My skin feels healthier and improved. I love that it comes in a generous size. The opaque packaging makes it hard to tell how much product is left. But that's not really a major issue. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2023
This product absorbs well and is suitable for applying generously before bed It's disappointing that when I apply it during my super sensitive skin phase before my period, I feel like it might cause some blemishes - sb******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 4, 2023
This product wasn't a good fit for me. I have super sensitive skin, combination dehydrated skin, and acne-prone skin. After using it for 2-3 days, I started to develop blemishes. The ingredients don't agree with my skin. The hydration wasn't bad, though. No additional comments. - wd***Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2023
After applying and absorption, you might feel a bit dry, but I've been using it comfortably since I don't have any blemishes on my face. I'm the type who breaks out if my skin feels even slightly oily, so this works well for me. It's not exactly my holy grail, but more of a love-hate relationship - I keep coming back to it after trying other products, always wondering if there's something better out there. After absorption, there's a dry feeling? If you have dry skin, you'll need to apply something else before and after. I used a hydrating toner before applying this cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2023
I love how it applies smoothly without feeling sticky. It goes on with a nice, moisturizing feel. It's less hydrating than the Blemish line. The moisturizing effect seems to fade rather quickly.
