About two hours after applying, my entire cheeks broke out in hives as if I'd been bitten by mosquitoes. It was so itchy, like something was crawling all over my skin. I was shocked and had to scrub it off thoroughly with a foam cleanser. The irritation subsided immediately after washing, but I'm truly surprised. I've always considered myself to have skin of steel and have never reacted like this to any product before. I definitely won't be using this again. I'm on my second bottle and it's perfect for winter use! When I wake up the next morning after applying, my face is glowing and makeup goes on smoothly! The texture is quite thick, so it doesn't glide on as smoothly as some other products

First off, I have dry skin. 1. When I apply this before bed, my skin has a glow in the morning. It really feels like it's deeply nourishing! 2. It's extremely rich, so it might be great for very dry skin types. However, make sure to hydrate your skin thoroughly before applying this cream. The product itself seems to lock in moisture rather than provide hydration. 3. It works wonderfully with overnight sheet masks. 1. It's excessively rich... If you only apply this before sleeping, everything will stick to your face - hair, bedding, dust, literally everything. It's almost like an ointment. That's why using it with an overnight sheet mask creates a synergistic effect while preventing things from sticking to your face. Not being able to use it without a sheet mask is its only drawback! I recommend this as part of your nighttime routine with an overnight sheet mask. It's also great to use a beauty device to help the product penetrate deeper into your skin. I apply a thick layer after cleansing at night and go to sleep. When I wake up, my face has such a glow! (Though it washes off, my skin feels plump and bouncy.) Even with my sensitive skin, I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes. The price is on the higher side... Also, after it's been on for a while, any excess that hasn't absorbed tends to pill, so you need to rinse it off with water. As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I've found that applying a generous layer of this before bed works wonders! I wake up to beautifully hydrated skin. When I touch my cheeks in the morning, they feel incredibly soft and supple! The gel texture feels quite thick and tacky, which I'm not a fan of. It's a bit of a sticky situation... But despite disliking the feel, I keep reaching for it because the results are so good. It's a love-hate relationship! Apply a generous amount before bed, and you'll wake up with baby-soft skin!
