The effects are immediate upon application. It significantly relieves itching, though it doesn't completely eliminate dead skin cells. If I stop using it for a few days, the itching starts right back up again... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2016
Nothing much to say... It feels cool due to the menthol, but that was just a fake sensation, haha! I bought this with a purifying shampoo, but I think this product is the culprit rather than the rinse-off shampoo. What happened was I got an alarming number of blemishes, like contact dermatitis. I have seborrheic dermatitis, but it's never been this bad in my life... I strongly advise those with super sensitive skin to avoid using this at all costs. - wt*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2016
When you first spray it, you don't feel much, but if you gently rub it with your fingers and wait for 1-2 minutes, your scalp feels incredibly refreshing! I think it'll be perfect to use in hot summer weather. It's not too intense, just the right level of coolness! Especially if you spray this on your crown area and dry it, it really helps control scalp odor. I have thick hair that's prone to odor, and when I spray this, it temporarily mixes with the tea tree scent, creating a bit of an 'old man' smell on my scalp (it's temporary, of course). Also, as expected from Aromatica, it's on the pricier side. (Additional note) It felt so refreshing in summer that I used it daily, but after about a week, my scalp started itching after washing my hair. It doesn't feel like itchiness from not washing, so I think the alcohol content might have irritated my scalp. As they say, too much of a good thing... Once a week seems to be the right frequency! If you wash your hair at night, spray this on, and then blow-dry, the crown odor disappears! When you first spray it, the scent temporarily mixes, so I wouldn't recommend it for busy mornings! After thoroughly drying your hair, the scalp odor disappears and there's no dry itchiness, so I plan to keep using it in the future. - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2016
After spraying, there's a cooling sensation that lasts for about 20 minutes. It seems to alleviate itching too. I sometimes get painful blemishes when I press on my forehead where there's baby hair, but after using this, it seemed to calm down a bit the next day. Well, it stings quite a bit when applied to areas with cuts, but it gets better soon. Also, the scent is a bit too strong. I don't use it right before going out or when I'm going to be close to people, because the mint scent is quite strong. - lo********Combination SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2016
I have oily skin and scalp, along with seborrheic dermatitis. When I suddenly started experiencing hair loss at the crown, I resumed using a hair tonic I had previously stopped. Recently, I noticed an unpleasant scalp odor emerging. This is my first time trying this product, and I'm pleased to report that it eliminated the odor. While my scalp still gets oily by evening, it seems less so than before. Personally, I didn't find it irritating at all. It's still too early to tell, but I really hope I don't develop a tolerance to it. After washing your hair, pat it dry with a towel. Then, spray the product evenly onto your scalp between hair strands. Gently massage it in with your fingertips to help absorption, and then blow-dry your hair. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 13, 2016
My scalp was hot and itchy, but it improved a lot after using this product! The fragrance is too strong. Although I always repurchase it, it seems a bit expensive for the amount you get. It's great for waking me up when I'm feeling drowsy! - al******Dry SkinJan 26, 2016
This is truly my holy grail! When I'm feeling drowsy during late-night work, I spritz this on and it's amazing - my scalp feels refreshed and cool. It's absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that if you spray too much, it can feel excessively cooling... Controlling the amount is essential! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 8, 2015
This product is truly a holy grail... My scalp isn't exactly oily, but it's not dry either - it's in that tricky sensitive in-between zone. After shampooing in the morning and drying my hair, I spray this on my crown and scalp... and it's absolutely fantastic! It feels so refreshingly cool! There's nothing to complain about, really. I just wish it came in a larger size since the current volume is quite small. - do*******Combination SkinJun 17, 2015
It provides a wonderfully refreshing sensation for the scalp. The cooling effect is temporary but noticeable. Be cautious if you have any scalp wounds - it can feel like your scalp is on fire if you spray it there. I tried it for my seborrheic dermatitis, but it's best to avoid areas with open sores. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 11, 2015
I tried this on my scalp due to severe itching and blemishes, and I'm pleased with the refreshing cooling sensation. It seems to have alleviated the itchiness too. I would consider repurchasing. The mint scent is quite strong and lingers for a long time. Those who are sensitive to fragrances might find it off-putting.
