Since I used this after a first cleanse, I can't say for sure if it removes heavy makeup, but it's perfect for daily use. The slightly runny texture makes it easy to lather up. It rinses off without feeling slippery, yet doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean - the balance is just right. As a sensitive foam with houttuynia cordata, it didn't irritate my skin even when I used it after getting caught in a summer downpour while wearing a mask, which had made my face extra sensitive. I even used it to remove eye makeup gently and experienced no stinging (I had LASIK about a month ago). What I loved most was the lack of dryness after washing. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, some products make my skin feel tight as soon as I pat dry with a towel, but with this one, I could leave my bare face alone without feeling any dryness. It seems perfect for summer when skin tends to be more sensitive due to the heat. The case color is pretty, and the size is just right too! The scent was very raw and natural. It smelled like a construction site or wood at first, which was a bit off-putting, but it got better once I realized it was the houttuynia cordata scent. Nothing specific to add. If you don't like the scent, just hold your breath for a moment while you massage it in thoroughly.
