I bought this as a 1+1 deal, so it was about $10 for 80ml. Since it's a leave-in type, getting some on your hands is unavoidable, but if you squeeze out just the right amount and spread it evenly, there's hardly any residue left on your hands. The scent isn't a harsh chemical one, but a light strawberry fragrance - like adding a couple drops of regular beauty essence scent. I have thick, coarse hair, so I need to use a bit more, but even with a generous application, it doesn't make my hair feel greasy. Instead, it gives a nice shine. On days when I forget to use it, I really notice that I need to apply the essence! The lasting power doesn't seem to be that long. If I shower, apply the essence, and go out before leaving, it's fine for about 1-2 hours. But in winter, if I'm out for a long time, my hair feels a bit dry and lackluster when I return. When applying, I use my fingers like a comb. Instead of squeezing it onto the center of your palm, try squeezing it directly onto your fingertips, then interlace your fingers to distribute it. This makes it easier to apply and leaves less residue on your hands. Update: A YouTuber recommended this, and it's perfect! Use it right after washing your hair, when it's just slightly towel-dried. I use about 4-5 pumps. I have thick hair that's a bit past my shoulders, and this amount works well. Applying it to damp hair seems to help it absorb better. Be sure to avoid the scalp and only apply to the hair shaft for best results. The berry scent is subtle, and it really gives your hair a nice shine. Surprisingly, the effect lasts even if I skip a day between applications. I plan to use it every other day, as daily use might be a bit much.
