There's shimmer, but it's not particularly noticeable when applied. The color differs slightly from what's shown on the official website. (In the photo, it appears to have a hint of brown, but the actual color is more of a toned-down pink.)

As someone with a summer cool (bright) complexion, this is more suitable for chilly autumn and winter rather than daily use. I haven't used it extensively since I use other lip products too, but it's neither matte nor too soft in texture.
